I'm not going to pretend I'm a saint, I would have seriously considered keeping that money. I'd be too paranoid that someone would just lie "oh yeah, that's totally my safe!"
It's mine, MINE!!!
To steal something that's berried in my backyard for 8 years, not by myself mind you, is not stealing. There are cases that when someone finds treasure on their property they have the right to keep it. Original owner could sue the person and argue that it's theirs, but I wouldn't have been dumb and announce it to the world.
Also the last part of spend, yes cause the rent is too damn high.
“Do not lose time on daily trivialities. Do not dwell on petty detail. For all of these things melt away and drift apart within the obscure traffic of time. Live well and live broadly. You are alive and living now. Now is the envy of all of the dead.” ~ Emily3, World of Tomorrow
Words to live by.
I would probably keep it.. and so would you. Who are we kidding here?
"if you kill your enemies, they win" naivety serves nothing but to be your own undoing.
when people founded the nations we live in now, they understood that sometimes you had to do some bad shit. you do the bad shit, so your people can live in as much peace and stability as possible. ideally, with as much freedom as possible, within reason.
