I dont really get how you dont understand that people chose guns as their way of killing people in school because guns are literally the best option that is available to them, some people makes bombs aswell like the Santa fey shooter who planted homemade bombs on campus, but if you think that stabbing attacks or truck attacks would be as deadly then why arent they happening, how come its always guns, unless they are in europe were people dont have acces to guns and so have to resort to less efficient ways to kill people, like the truck in stockholm or the stabbing in london. We can remove guns and reduce the amount of people that die the same with knives and trucks but the difference is that trucks and knives have purposes in society as tools that we practically cant get rid of, but guns have only recreational use for a civillian.

Hey, you actually do get it!
Nice job talking something out of context to seem like i agree with you.

That's not true at all... There are people stabbed once and die. There are people that have been shot more than 5 times and survive. There are people shot in the fucking head that survive.
People can get stabbed five times and survive or get shot once and die, if knives were more efficient at killing then why are there so many gun homocides, why wouldnt they just use knives? Knives are easier to access, cheaper and according to you even more lethal so why arent people dying in droves to knife attacks?

Do you know anything about the shooters? They clearly didn't mix well with their classmates. Lots of them were outcasts because of the culture they had.
People who commit violence always have a reason to do so, guns themselves dont commit crime, no a single person is saying that the guns are commiting the murder, like i said earlier guns enable these personalities to shoot up schools, people in europe arent going to stab people in schools, and you still havent given a reason why these act of violence arent happening the same amount in europe.

Charlottesville only had one death, and that was due to one person, and it had nothing to do with guns. They didn't mix, either. They were almost all violent. Many people were arrested.
I never said it was due to guns, i said it was due to a clash of ideology, a clash that happened because the ideology of the alt right are mixing with a more liberal and progressive ideology.

Not even close to being right.

They chose to use guns because of the ease of use. "Trucks of peace" kills can rival any mass shooter.

You've proven that your reality is fully of fallacies, though. How can anyone trust what you say?
And it's well known that people are lazy. If they don't have access to guns, at least some of them will decide it isn't worth the personal effort they'd have to go through to cause the same level of trouble with one of those other methods. So yeah, other methods will go up, but not by as much as you seem to think.
The most difficult thing to do is accept that there is nothing wrong with things you don't like and accept that people can like things you don't.

That's some serious cognitive dissonance right there.

What part is false, that the NRA lobbies congress to stop gun regulation? They for example stopped goverment-funded gun violence research and the stopped the ban on assault weapons.

Gun regulation will 100% reduce the amount of people that get killed due to gun violence, the terrorist that killed people in the gyclub in orlando was on the FBI terrorist watchlist but was still legally allowed to buy a firearm.

It makes perfect sense if you think about it. Who better to promote the sale of guns than someone who was willing to sell guns to one of the country's worst enemies?

And if they blocked his right to buy guns it would have turned into this giant racist fiasco.

If they stopped making guns this very moment in time, they'd never get them all back, and it wouldn't solve anything even if they did.

American pop culture is shaped by hip-hop which is shaped by violent "urban" culture. Kids grow up wanting to be "hip" and emulate these thugs. A vicious cycle perpetuates.

Just kidding it's the NRA's fault, upvote to the left.

I dont really understand where this is coming from, can you link something proving that people thought that the FBI was being racists by doing something comparable?

That is why you would have gun buybacks to get some of the guns that are currently in circulation out of circulation and therefore reduce the amount of guns available.

You can be blocked from buying guns, if he was on the watch list, he should have been blocked, but he wasn't. That being said, if they DID block him from buying a gun, it would have exploded in some racist fiasco like it always does (until they drive a truck into a crowd, or shoot up a gay bar).

Lol, you think someone is going to get rid of a gun that the government doesn't know exists? You're stoned.

The reason he wasnt blocked from buying a gun is because it is literally illegal for the FBI to preven you from buying a gun. But its good that you agree that there should be some gun regulation, who else should not be allowed to buy a gun?

Also could you link to something similar where people have freaked out and it has become a "racist fiasco", since it always happens it shouldnt be too hard.

Im not quite sure what you are saying, i you are denying that some people will turn their guns in for money then i guess there is little i can say against that, i think that a lot of guns would be sold back to the government through gun buy backs and any time you bring a gun out of circulation its a good thing.

Other countries that are similar to the US don;t seem to have this issue

    They get the same movies
    They have the same books
They have the same video games
    They have the same music
These countries all have the same access to these listed items as the US

What makes the US different that there is a culture around it when our culture around the world does not seem to be causing similar results?

There is a difference between take all the guns, and regulations.

Also, if you don't like guns, you can grab a few bucks, if you like guns, you're not going to sell a 500 dollar gun for 145 bucks.

Tell me the exact number of guns in the US 2018.

No, but we can lessen the potential number of casualties by regulating the types of firearms the public owns. What do you think is capable of killing more people in a short amount of time - a semi-auto/auto rifle or a knife? So yes, you can blame the types of weapons people have access to.

I think SSRIs have been a relatively common then in mass shooters. The NRA should just stay silent for a week after the shooting, they really can’t say anything right in a response
