Best way to farm gold from now til BFA?

So after buying a bunch of games and gametime with wow gold i find myself under a million from what i had saved coming into legion, what would be a good use of time to farm gold for BFA? Its been so long since i had to think about gold making i have no idea what is best nowadays lol. I used to buy and sell mounts but they are all so crazy expensive now i cant even afford to buy one and sell. I am a max tailor and enchanter if that helps.

Class hall, level alts, do argus quest line and class hall quest line, upgrade followers and wait for the gold missions to come in.

There is a fairly substantial time investment though to get to the point of making a lot of gold off a fresh alt from class halls. And I suspect Blizz will take all gold missions away in the pre-patch, like they did at the end of WoD.

Imo just level alts so you are prepared to start fresh for next expansion and I would pick up herbalism on multiple chars and alchemy on 1. Usually good for gold making at the start of expansions.

Is selling bags worth it now?

I would wager it depends if and by how much prices increase on release day and the following week.

    They will sell regardless.

I'd make them now, and hang onto them until BFA. With the new allied races, the demand for bags will skyrocket

If, like me, you leveled a lot of chars up in WoD (When it was much much faster/easier to level) and have them sitting at 100 you can level them up fairly quickly using invasions (literally only log on them when the invasions are up) and it doesn't take much time at all to level multiple chars to 110. From there, dothe argus questine which takes just shy of 2 hours and finish the class hall questline which you can do alot of pre 110 and requires a few dungeons and missions and you're ready to rake in the cash.

Yea, if you want to spend 100$ a week on a video game, sure. But if you're doing that, it's time to walk away from the computer and do something with yourself

The "best" way usually requires some initial setup / investment...
Hoenstly asking: why are people buying runecloth bags?

I've been selling all my legion materials, got tons of it still left and made 1.5m so far. So if you got some i would say sell it as it will be useless soon.

    Gem chips,
    Prolong power potion
    Shal'dorei Silk
    Felwort
    Infernal Brimstone
Leystone ores. All the jewelcrafting lesser materials, deep amber, azunite etc. list goes on.

They do not bind, so they are reusable. But he is off by one magnitude, current price is [Runecloth Bag] 35 153.25 28 minutes ago (avg. undermine price).

You must have several tailors then since looking at the mats it takes quite some time to craft

Yeah. Cause the moment you finish argus, a npc shows up to give all of your followers max level, all 950 ilvl plus full epic equips to boost their success chance to get those 200%.
If what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. Then I should be a god by now.

You are too late to the party to make big bucks from missions since you still are timegated. I would park your alts outside a cata raid with easy, quick and accessible bosses and keep making hexweave bags with your 16 characters

One BFA launches keep an eye out on crafted items that can earn you significant amount of gold, like flasks did in Legion

My hourly rate of pay means it's better for me to work overtime than play WoW to farm gold. In the time it takes to level an alt 100-110 and get it optimised for the mission table I could buy 3-4 tokens which is way better (considering the gold missions will be gone in like 1.5 months).

Plus at least I'm working instead of sitting behind a computer in my parents basement 24/7 :P

No, but you're *ready* as in, you don't need to do anything else but log in and send missions off...

good time to sell all the legion materials, dont wait for the last month, majority of people are ready at the last month before next expansion, now is the good time, people are leveling all their alt to 110 and maxing their crafting
