Who says "let go"? Question is only about relative scale of "badness"; don't even need to quantify it, just say worse/better/equal.
Like "Is kid stealing candy from store worse then armed bank robbery with hostages, victims, and shots fired?" I would have guessed for most people answer is obvious, but then i posted the question because i wasn't entirely sure.

I don't think it's even close - the Iraq War costs something in the ballpark of $4 trillion, was a diplomatic disaster, further destabilized the Middle East and spawned ISIS, cost thousands of Americans lives and (depending on how you count) hundreds of thousands of Iraqi lives.
I can't imagine any plausible accounting that pegs the sum of Trump's actions as being worse than that. I guess you could somehow treat tax cuts as being about the same thing as squandering money on a pointless war, but it's going to be a pretty hard sell to most people that are thinking clearly.
Just because people are participating in a bait thread doesn't mean it isn't a bait thread.
You're also the only one responding to me pretending the topic is thought provoking and interesting and not a bait thread.
I'm also not surprised that it worked. If there's anything this forum loves it's an anti-imperialist circle jerk

Hundreds of thousands of people dead. Trillion spent, thousands of American military personnel killed. The US significantly weakened, the Middle East completely destabilized, America's standing among the nations of the world especially it's allies in Europe damaged to this very day and rise of sectarian violence in Iraq.
vs Trump.
Right. Kindly piss off. When Trump has gotten hundreds of thousands people killed directly through wars he starts which not only did Bush do but so did Obama then you can make comparisons. Until then shove it.
