Probably wouldn't go Prydaz since you are getting Heart of Azeroth on the first quest you do

When I leveled on beta, I didn't think Shadowburn was that great. It does so little damage for a finisher and RE made the gameplay more smooth and enjoyable.

Just remember. Chest, shoulder, helm are "Reserved" for Azerite armors.

Other than that, I have leveled several warlocks at beta (4) and I tried both affli and destro (the first one was demo when demo was a thing :P )

    Affliction
    Deathbolt
    Absolute Corruption
    Demon Skin
    Phantom Singularity
    Mortal Coil
    GoSac
    Creeping Death
Legos: Sacrolash (must have), KJ trinket

You run pulling with corr, they never reach you, they die.
    Mortal Coil for PvP
GoSac does tremendous damage, you obviously have void out for 3-man quests (elites)
    Demon Skin to avoid daze!

Allfi has bad leveling pvp talents. I pick trinket, nether wand (I always take this), Rot and Decay and Soulshatter

    Destruction
    Flashover
Shadowburn (really good at leveling, it finishes up mobs, it generates shards with havoc)
    Demon Skin
    Cataclysm (tremendous damage)
    Mortal Coil
    GoSac
    Channel Demon Fire
    Legos: Sephuz's, KJ trinket

PvP: Entrenched, nether wand, focused chaos/bane of havoc

The chaos PvP talent dictates how you play the spec. This time you mount and gather 5-7 mobs (before 116-177 you can gather even more, after that there is a danger to die) and you can optionally Shadowfury --> Bane of havoc --> Conflagrate to keep all rooted --> Cataclysm --> and either demonfire or havoced CBs. This is serious damage but you may die sometimes if you overpull. It is also very satisfying. I suggest when you use Cataclysm to go with Demonfire-->confla again --> SB so that have the shards for the next pull without Cataclysm to ROFLSTOMP them with havoc'ed CBs.

I also suggest you get the azerite trait that generates a shield when you have 4 or more mobs around you (cannot recall the name).

I tested all these on beta server where I was practically alone most of the times. So destro worked very well. You will not be alone at live. So I suggest you start with affli (and even avoid looting non-quest-dropping mobs) so that you can tag mobs and if you push hard enough you can switch to destro at higher levels!

Want to do levelling as Aff since I find it fun but should do Destro to relearn it from a long absence.

If I were to do Aff, probably my world quest setup right now:

    Deathbolt
    Absolute Corruption
    Burning Rush
    Phantom singularity
    Mortal Coil
    Sacrifice
    Creeping Death

Likely with prydaz or Sephuz. Could swap in Demon Skin and trade Prydaz for Disdain.

Siphon Life, tbh, the extra GCD, isnt quite worth in in an environment not demanding lotsa damage. Easier to use Deathbolt on a permanent Corruption (and honestly, Siphon Life doesnt buff Deathbolt by that much more anyway)

Can I ask why? I was considering this for the longest time since I didn't want to deal with a pet.
But I figured having imp out would be ok and that Roaring Blaze would simply just be more damage than GoSac. Especially with Bane of Havoc

I switched to roaring blaze at 117 or something, since I was taking more dmg from big pulls and had void out most of the times. But I suggest GoSac for the first levels since mobs are not hitting for much.

You might like Entrenched Flame more if you're solo levelling, just imo.

I'll probably go with something like this for the first 7-8 levels:

Advice needed here. I boosted my warlock a few months ago but havent played much on it since we started over on a new server and i had to level some other toons aswell.

basicly my setup right noow is:

    ivl: 205
Leggos: Isnginia of the grand army + Wilfreds sigil of superior summoning

I dont have any set bonuses. I want to level as destro or affliction. I can probably fit in time go get one more leggo before launch.

What do you guys suggest i get and what spec should i level as?

Personally, I would get Sephuz or Soul of Netherlord and just level what you like more. Destro would probably be less painful but I dunno how it levels with a low gear score.. can't imagine aff would be better than destro.

In reality most quest mobs will be too far apart for you to do this to any great degree. Much better off maximising for single target kills.

Why is every affliction picking Deathbolt? I just miss Nightfall so much and was super happy SB+NF came back ..

Because DB can hit harder than Chaos Bolt, super good for levelling. Nightfall might be better sustained, but on shorter-lived stuff DB will tear things apart.
