What zones of Kul'tiras and Zandalar are in chronological order?
What zones of Kul'tiras and Zandalar are in chronological order?
"You know you that bitch when you cause all this conversation."
I would like to know as well.
I think Zandalar goes City-Desert-Swamp, and Kul'Tiras goes City-Mountains-Spooky
Zuldazar's story leads into Nazmir, Voldun stands on its own. Kul'Tiras logically would start with Tiragarde sound, but none of the three zones are particularly connected and could be done in any order.
Horde: Zuldazar (capitol city of Zandalar) from there you can chose to:
1- Help Talanji on Nazmir
2- Discover the problem on Voldun
3- Help the Empire on Zuldazar.
Now Zuldazar story continues on Voldun while Nazmir actually ends on Uldir and going to Zuldazar. Voldun as people already say it, it stands alone.
Alliance: For Kultiras its different, every zone its independent and carries their one quests, so you can sorted out in terms of " a newlander reaching this uncharted land" so it should go like this:
Tiragarde Sound (i hope you like going back and fort many many many times) the Main Capitol and knowing the land.
Drustvar, the darkwoods of Kultiras, witchcraft and shadows lurks this place.
Stormsong valley, the hollow waters and a beautifull landscape, ruined by the Horde,
Hope this helps
Can't speak for Kul'Tiras but for Zandalar the stories are basically written as if they could happen in any order.
There are some open questions though. Like from where Talanji specifically gets her powers. Without wanting to go into spoilers depending where she gets her power from Nazmir couldnt play out after Zuldazar.
Logically speaking from a matter of interest and success rate I thought of this a while ago:
Zuldazar first since gaining the kings trust and sorting out politics and gaining the fleet has the highest priority as a horde member. Vol'dun comes second since there might be a corrupt general working against you and you don't want military stabbing you in the back. And lastly Nazmir as it is the confrontation with an actual inherent enemy and a threat to Zandalar and that fleet you want. Doing it first mgiht backfire if meanwhile military and politicans work against you behind your back while not having earned the full trust othe king.
But you can easily make it play out different depending on your assumptions. None of the stories of the areas require one happening beforehand so it is a matter of assumptions. Only thing that si clear is that all matter to the story and do happen inevitably as it all plays a part in the story finale scenario and the Uldir afterwards.
The Zandalar stories are technically all happening at the same time. Someone said above that Zulduzar "leads into" Nazmir but that's not really correct. Even though the zones share a story border, Zulduzar story doesn't happen before Nazmir. At one point at the Blood Gate in Zulduzar (at the latter part of the zone story), you're defending against incursions from the Blood Trolls, and mention is made that Talanji and Rokhan are fighting on the other side. That would naturally assume that the "other side" is at least somewhere through the Nazmir story, after the bases have been set up.
