What? TF was a whole different angle of OP. It was the proc monster, TF totem and combat spec with Sword Specialization was melting anything, literally. Anything.

MS was custom built for Hemo, not so much for combat. But if you were raiding Naxx40, you most likely were well equipped for anything in the game, so it wouldt have mattered as much.

I’d say subtlety is fun, I hope it’s the go to for this expac. Been a minute where they’ve truly shined.

Cold blood hemo was very popular in vanilla and cold blood prep with backstab very strong at the start of TBC (early Neilyo videos), mutilate never really took off in TBC apart from a handful of comps because it was so easy to kite, I remeember it wasn't until start of wotlk when mut/prep was really broken and you could drop people in a cheap shot.
Yea good old times, i remember that as well. I played deep sub for the entire expansion, as i never really liked Combat.

assassination was definitely the premier spec for the entire expansion lol

Might get back into PVP this exp. What are people seeing as the best PVP spec so far in BFA?

I really want to learn Sub but I'm having a really hard time. I know both Assassination and Outlaw like I know my own dick but this..

Any tip, video or lifehack as Sub would be great. I know the basics but the execution feels so messy.

Ever since Ashine maintains the Sub guide on icy-veins, it is more than acceptable. Is is pretty much detailed and shows common mistakes. Besides, handling Sub became easier in BfA. No DfA anymore and no Finality to care about. It is definitely more challenging than Outlaw or Assa, but its not rocket science.

I'm not complaining man, but thanks still. Im okay with russian on the right hand, and I know about icy-veins and its cool guide on the left. Just answering to the dude looking for video guide)

Shadow clone Jutsu gets used the same way DfA does if that's your style. Dance, symbols, SS (if you have find weakness), Shadow clones.

I use it, I know master of shadows pulls ahead in prolonged ST, but I think Shadow Clones give you a nice burst and some flexibility to cleave. I'm actually surprised shuriken storm isn't on the same cooldown as shadow clones, I find it a bit lack luster for an AOE.

Really? Your guild was short on DPS and they thought you going Sub would be the answer?

I strongly suggest you get back to Sub now. Oh and if you're a booster, start learning Sub, it really isn't that complicated anymore and it's actually 75% just like Sin.

As for me, I will never play Roll the Bones spec, cba with watching for buffs and changing rotations according with what buff I got. I'd rather just play my ww monk again.
its a joke trying to offer feedback on the blizzard forums. you get all these assholes who are a bunch of psychos. they assume your a kid. they don't take you seriously. the age of most players is 21+ that play world of warcraft. not a bunch of kids. this assumption is so irritating and when you respond to some type of quality feedback your met by people assuming your some child. this is simply trolling. trolling is pissing people off.

we really are fucked because the last time subtlety was fun to play was during warlords of draenor. the spellbooks i'm mentioning. how ever you manage to make the spec subtlety to work; that means getting kills, winning duels blizzard just comes in and breaks the spec because of the success of one player figuring out the puzzle of rogue. im irate about this fact there is no need to keep punishing players. just hope you all understand that its not just your entertainment's sake at stake but your dealing with a lot of nobodies defending a stupid notion. subtlety is the hardest spec to play in the game right now has been for a very long time. the question that i ask everyone, is all this really worth 15$ monthly subscription? you answer it yourself. its really bad business practice. this is the first time that this class and spec is benched permanently. noone in the community sees playing rogue an option to them. i myself have played my rogue main for such a long time that i see no reason to play another class especially the amount of time that i have invested. the option im left with is simply quit the game entirely find another game. over and over this repeats in a cycle of hate.

things were better off during vanilla, BC wrath even cataclysm with the introduction of the legendary quest to get the deathwing fangs as daggers. i guess mists and warlords but legion subtlety fun fell off the map and bfa is so broken.

things were better off with chris metzen working at blizzard.

Well, you DID post several paragraphs and all you actually said was "Stop liking what I don't like". That is rather amusing, all things considered.

Well, it doesn't differ too much but the playstyle is just not as rigid as it used to be with DfA. Besides DfA was buggy and required much more preparation if you wanted to min max properly. In mythic+ you always waited for the whole Combo to line up in Legion. In BfA you use Secret Technique on cooldown, prferably with ShD and you don't have to care about Finality by canceling Auras and shit. If you didn't min max in Legion you won't really notice a big difference otherwise the playstyle became easier.
