I only expect 8.3 if its gonna be nzoth.
Else: no.
Predicting something doesn't mean its bad.

If they do add it in, I'm going to assume it's at least slightly going to make a nod/reference to the original way people theorized it was obtainable-the myth, basically, which if I recall was to wall jump somewhere in Stranglethorn to get to a cave where it would be available from an npc.
Hey, I'm not saying it's a good, or original, resolution. It's just an example that pulled out of my ass. But it is better than having everyone forgive her and at least it would be an interesting way to develop characters, how tyrande and genn would react by having their vengeance denied AND having to kinda hope for her safety. How would the horde deal with her? How will baine let the characters walk all over him now? Idk, just an idea.

100%. Its the damn end theres no way we don't get a cinematic.
But also I'm on my phone at work so cant do much searching but on top of my head I can't remember any cinematic starting with blizzard logo and the ending logo to have been ever added ingame. Does anyone know one? I might be wrong but I can't recall any of them.
I could totally see a cliffhanger as the official end point for 8.2.5. Stir up some excitement, get some interest going. Could be something to be resolved in 8.3 as well.
I do suspect even if they do space it out, we get the big reveal pre-Blizzcon as a way to drum up some marketing excitement.

EDIT: Question on the cinematic - Is there any chance Blizz would have added in Old Soldier as a temporary file to set their cinematic call in place and/or deter dataminers from finding the real information? Or is that not something they'd likely do?

i always considered the heart of azeroth storylines to be the main storyline.
all this faction war shit can never even be referenced again in the future, and it'd please me. at least it finally seems to be over, for now.
The war campaign ending in 8.2.5 also works with the notion that any changes to how factions work (if it happens) might be coming in 8.3 or 8.3.5 instead of 9.0.
