Or Alliance gnomes work on it secretly during the campaign to set it up to re-target to Orgrimmar once it gets engaged to fire and cant be shut down.

No. That pretty much guarantees that we'll get it next week though.

They'd need to announce maintenance ahead of time. If Blizz wanted to blow up their formula I guess Friday could still work, but it's almost certainly Tuesday.

Also worth remembering we don't actually have the Release Candidate build yet.

Still very unlikely, sadly. They're not one to break tradition like that. Still weird.

    My current guess is:

    8.3 - dealing with N'zoth

9.0 - 'Death' themed expac (although I think we will get area north of Stratholme + Dragon Isles as "continent" for expac; Shadowlands could happen in a patch); Necromancer as new class

10.0 - It's big number, I guess it will be cosmic scale again like Legion: return of Sargeras/Illidan, Azeroth's awakening, fight against Void Lords, continent: K'aresh or even more places in the cosmos; new class: Tinker with strong Titans theme (I know, 2 classes in a row, but 10.0 is big number).

As a foreshadow of factions breaking down they also break the horde symbol in the zone.

The Bilgewater Cannon fires. Due to overestimating the amount of firepower needed, the shell circles the planet and slams into Gorribal, destroying the sword and sealing the wound in Azeroth. Gallywix, riding the wave of support for saving Azeroth, becomes the new Warchief.

    Blizzard hire this person, please.

And 6 minute cinematic will just show cannonball flying through whole Azeroth.

In fact, forget the goblin city. ;D

That would just open the wound more, wouldn't it?

Unless we are immediately prepared to seal it (druid shit probably, like how they healed the firelands quest zone). Kinda like how its not good to remove an object if you got stabbed since you would bleed out faster.

This is exactly how I think WoW will go from here. I'm actually really glad I'm not the only one who thinks this.

I still say we should just re-originate Silithus. Not like turning it into a desert is a downgrade from what it used to be.

Yeah, it might not be too obvious from my post, but that's what I was trying to say: it wouldn't be good either to merely have the Alliance to dumb/evil stuff, too.

Only in Hearthstone :P although I'd like to believe that like many settlements, Gadgetzan is way larger in the lore.

PTRs just restarted and came back up with a newer build. No client patch out yet.

The ultraheated thermal payload melts the sword and instantly cauterises the wound with a mass of molten metal.

Unfortunately, Azeroth dies from the sheer agony involved.

Movies and serials are pure story, and they get marketing. A campaign is not that different.
I think any cinematic still will give away the campaign. Number of chapters is honestly pretty useless info (there will be 3 chapters doesn't have any impact over there's gonna be 5 chapters) unless you mean you're wanting to know if they will do 1 chapter per week or something.

The tease on possible developments will probably be what's revealed by the War Campaign ending or its related cinematics (think all the speculation about faction unification after the Jaina/Thrall save Baine cinematic). Red herrings fall here too.

A trailer would just give it away.

See the bottom line is, it's kept super secret because it probably reveals a fuck ton. Doubt it's gonna be as lackluster as the Azshara EP cinematic where all that happened was what everyone already knew (wow N'zoth is free).

But the War Campaign ending? Look at how people speculating over how it will end. It's insane. It will define Horde/Alliance relations going forward, some major characters could die.

Imo it's sort of akin to how people don't watch any trailers or images for Dark Souls games, because the image of a boss or location is considered just as spoilerish to some as literally saying "Sylvanas escapes in the end".

So I'm just very doubtful we'll get any sort of preview about the War Campaign ending other than the teases we've already been getting (such as seeing the splash screen and what's said in the patch notes, stuff like that).

Yes, the loss of the world soul would probably have an adverse effect on the planet.
