Just want to cosign a ranged bow spec. This game needs more ranged specs and another spec that uses bows. Only hunters have that role.

To be honest, I prefer a heal spec,, based on fel magic and shadow.

If you ignore the fact that fel magic is fuels off of life energy. That could be cool.

Really have no idea how you heal with Fel. Suppose you could be a "Drain" healer, but that would require you to always be doing damage to heal which just wouldn't fit in the current game.

Makes sense to get a ranged spec, or a hybrid ranged/melee.

Ranged hybrid dps/heal spec, ranged damage spells fill your resource bar/buffer - and that can be spent to transfer 'life force' to allies.

PLease no ranged spec, if we get a ranged spec we will all be forced to play range....... Look at Hunters and Druids most of them are boomkin or Marks/BM. Giving a ranged option means that will likely be the only option for many.

Why ignore it? Embrace it!

Instead of the normal, holy/nature/water healing, why not "heal" through leech and shields?

Kind of a Disc Priest, place barriers on allies, then have a couple "heal" spells, that grant a % of leech (50%) or so. Metamorphosis grants a crapton of leech for the Demon Hunter. It would be the same sort of thing, only being granted to allies.

Maybe even make it so that different spells stack, so one gives a baseline 15% leech, another, bigger heal grants another 30%, etc.

I don't know of this really fits within the Demon Hunter kit, but it would make for an interesting healing spec.
