BFA love thread

I love BFA. It's such a good expansion that I can't even compare it to something like Legion (which I deem extremely sub-par).

Theme-wise BFA is just beautiful, such exploration and mythical creatures coupled with a mesmerizing soundtrack, I can't play with background noise anymore. I could go very in depth about just how beautiful I think the overall theme of BFA really is but I prefer to contemplate beauty in silence. So I will.

Classes feel very polished. I haven't experienced such a streamlined experience for more than a decade. I feel that my warrior is a beastly champion of the horde, that my rogue is a sneaky bastard that will kill you in the blink of an eye and that my paladin is a champion of justice that will blind you with her glorious light. Combat is just so fluid and immersive, introducing back the GCD into main CDS was the best thing they could have ever done to combat in WoW.

Finally even end-game content like raids and pvp feel rewarding. I feel like I'm always working towards a more glorious future for my character. There's always something to improve but I don't feel compelled not to sleep in order to do it. It's just amazing.

The azerite system is a clear improvement over artifacts and rng legendaries. I don't think there's anything to discuss here. Everyone seems to love this system and so do I.

And oh please, who doesn't love island expeditions? This is probably the most innovative piece of content blizzard introduced to the mmo scene. The AI jumping around and killing things is just so entertaining to watch from afar. The joy of eliminating them is beyond words.

Warfronts guys, it's warcraft III all over again but in our beloved WoW. I love it. I can't get enough. I don't think there's anything they could have done better regarding warfronts.

Overall I feel so accomplished while playing. Whatever I'm doing I'm enjoying it. It's a beautiful experience that is definitively worthy of my love, and yours.

Exactly, we speak only for ourselves but by the looks of it it seems the haters this time around are heavily outnumbered. Even their voices aren't as loud as before.

Circle jerk... ? No. This is an appreciation thread where we appreciate BFA for what it is. One of the best expansions WoW has ever released and a great success for the genre itself.

Fanboys are a blight on this game. The reason we get WoDs and BfAs is because no matter how bad something is, fanboys will brigade and shutdown any and all negative feedback and pat Blizzard on the head for a job well done. At this point I'm starting to wonder if there is an army of paid shills hired by Ion. I love this game and have played it for 14 years but I can't accept BfA when I have TBC, WotLK, MoP, Legion and even Cata to compare it to.

Even during WotLK when WoW subs were at their peak there was never as much negative feedback as there is now. People complained about class balance and casualification, sure. No one ever complained about fundamental game mechanics like they do now. There is something seriously wrong with the direction Ion is taking this game in.

I'm glad other people are enjoying it but I'm struggling. Legion was my first experience of WoW and I miss it (even the AP grind and Leggo's) .BfA is just not keeping me gripped.

BFA has got everything Legion had plus plenty of entertaining and beautiful things. Legendaries were nothing but a big casino and it seems like you got hooked and are now experiencing some symptoms.

As I said I'm glad you are enjoying it but I'm not 'feeling' it. To me BfA is missing much of what Legion had, the experience is not the same. Not sure exactly why. I'm not keen on the dungeons (prefer Legion), the raid has done little for me, I miss tier sets (I am aware EN didn't have them either). I'm hoping it will click for me, at the moment I'm levelling some alts but as it stands I've two months on my sub and i'll take a break.

You are just not seeing the grand scheme yet.
Both cataclysm and MoP had more content regarding faction conflict than BfA does.

Maybe in 6 months this game will shape up to what it promised to be. It certainly isn't there right now.

I see nothing but charm when I log in. I'm sorry you're having a bad experience because mine has been something out of a fairy tale. I feel like I'm in heaven when I'm playing bfa.
