Have to go with yes, since I've solo'ed with a Mage a few times now.

short question: do Hanz and Franz still reset if you pull them alone without a pet/minion? they grab 1 person seconds after start and that used to cause a despawn.

They don't grab if you're solo? Or at least I've never had that issue though Legion.

Don't think so, i've been soloing it as moonkin no problem.
