They are getting rid of specialist. He is going to be a support. This was announced at Blizzcon.

lol how ? one of things i loved most about hots is the unique idea of specialist class, they want to be more lol like ? I'd go back to lol then

checking that image is weird, vikings support ? anub is tank while chen is bruiser ? I'm pretty sure Chen can take far more dmg than Anub can, Dehaka can also take more dmg, Anub has 3 ccs but in term of actual tanking he is very squishy, Tyreal also can't tank as chen or dehaka or cho

The Support role is pretty interesting, 2 out of the 5 heroes in it are in the top 5 least played, with Zarya and Abathur really not being all that popular either (Medivh is less played than both). I feel like it might have made more sense to put them into other roles, considering a tag system is still being planned. I don't know what other changes they have planned, though, maybe they're working on a rework for multiple of the support heroes or maybe more of them are coming.
