They have announced account wide repuation changes for War Within.

Question:

You are hated with Bloodsail on one character.
And you are exalted with Bloodsail on the other character.

You log on the 3rd character - what is the reputation for Bloodsail?

The obvious answer is you're hatexalted.

when TWW launches only the reps for that expansion will be account wide; they said they are going to work back from there starting with DF reputations to make everything account wide. So to answer your question, we don't know, but it also won't change at launch.

The account-wide reputation changes coming with War Within currently only for new reps that are being added with the expansion and they are "still deciding what happens for past expansions."

You are still hated with that one character and exalted with the other with the Bloodsail Buccaneers, cause they are only starting the with account-wide reputations for TWW, Dragonflight and Shadowlands at first. Older reps will be done at a much later time. They work their way back from the newest expansion to the oldest.

The problem about reputations is they will not reward anything useful anymore with the next expac. So if you are exalted does not really matter anymore for progression. They move gearing to delves for world players.

Be assured you still will have to play as much with every single character as you have today to get as few rewards as you get nowadays.

Instead of leveling renown over and over you have to run delves over and over.

My guess is bloodsail, oracles and frenzyheart will remain character specific.
