Nothing special or even exciting is being talked about; game dead?

Official forums are getting quiet too. There's not really much happening, not a lot to talk about.
Their newest character was Baptiste, and unlike most of the other characters, he's got
the look, personality, and depth of a wet paper towel.
Not surprising that no one cares about the game when it struggles to fix its own meta.
It just took time for people to notice that overwatch competitive sucks. From my point of view, it always sucked.
Was there ever a non stale meta? (I dont know)
Was the matchmaker ever good? (potential solutions such as role select never existed or anything equivalent?)
No map selects? (lots of people dont like certain types of maps)
ect...
There are several more problems with overwatch that always existed. Some are just my opinions and some are bigger problems that many, even professional ow players have brought up.
Stuff just happens too late. Blizzard is too slow.
The game has been stagnating for a while now, not much to talk about.
Certainly seems like things have slowed down, even the lore is going at a snail's pace. Hopefully this will motivate Blizz to pick up the pace with things or risk this game going the way of HotS.
Was already dead when it passed on monthly humble bundle ( more than 8 min queue for a game ).
Its a good example of Blizzard killed their own game to be honest. They wanted total control of every aspect instead of letting the industry and community create a competitive scene. Combine that with this very odd and seemingly confusing refusal to create expansions and such and you got yourself something that eventually peters out.
Overwatch may be dead as a popular thing, a fad; not as a game.
The game is fantastic but Competitive mode is utter garbage. I love quick play but alot of people like comp, so blizzard has to fix it to save the game.
There has never been an internet forum for any game anywhere in human history where the fans willingly admit the game is dying and/or dead. Every single time, people will white knight like crazy to say it is still alive all the way down.
TO FIX WOW:1. smaller server sizes & server-only LFG awarding satchels, so elite players help others. 2. "helper builds" with loom powers - talent trees so elite players cast buffs on low level players XP gain, HP/mana, regen, damage, etc. 3. "helper ilvl" scoring how much you help others. 4. observer games like in SC to watch/chat (like twitch but with MORE DETAILS & inside the wow UI) 5. guild leagues to compete with rival guilds for progression (with observer mode).6. jackpot world mobs.
More like there has never been a internet forum for any game anywhere that people won't come to just start saying "GAME DEAD?!".
Every game is dying from the moment it comes out according to the internet.
A slight dip in users and people love to start hating on it "GAME IS DYING".
It's like there's vultures just waiting.

Er what?
No? A game can be stagnating or actually dying. The point is though even if a game is doing well (Overwatch match tickets still sell out completely mind you), people will claim it's "dying".
Overwatch is fine. It's not going anywhere soon, nor is it close to dying.
