Lol, so the Warlock player character is actually insane and is helping Sargeras? I guess that now that the Zandalari are bound to Bwonsamdi, they are insane, as they are helping the Bwonsamdi's boss expand his influence on Azeroth. In fact, all races are insane as their constant bickering is merely fueling N'zoth.
The Void. A force of infinite hunger. Its whispers have broken the will of dragons... and lured even the titans' own children into madness. Sages and scholars fear the Void. But we understand a truth they do not. That the Void is a power to be harnessed... to be bent by a will strong enough to command it. The Void has shaped us... changed us. But you will become its master. Wield the shadows as a weapon to save our world... and defend the Alliance!

No. Bad things happen in war and people have to do morally ambiguous things to ensure victory. Should Void Elves be allowed to corrupt animals? Probably not and I find it very unlikely Anduin was aware that was happening, because he certainly would not condone it. But you can't say Void Elves are insane for corrupting wildlife unless you're also willing to say that Sylvanas is even more insane for raising her own troops for example.
Corrupting wildlife is directly aiding void lords in corrupting Azeroth. Yes, they are clearly insane.

Traitor? No. Dumb or shortsighted or softcocked, depending how you look at it? Absolutely. Seems to fit in with Horde leadership in that regard.

So, he's a traitor because he was unable to see the future and what would happen if he exiled them? Wat?

It makes sense for Lor'themar to exile the void elves, his people found salvation in the light after the scourge butt fucked them, and there is a difference to live off the void or become part of it or whatever the fuck lore void elves have and a different thing to use the controlled spells s.priests and warlocks use.

Also another reason why he would want to exile them is the same as every other horde leader's for forbiding sylvanas to use the plague, its just too dangerous, not worth the risk, you could argue now with sylvanas as warchief who gives a fuck, but the WARchief doesnt have a say in what the other races do inside their nation.

At last the butterfly effect you described, it is possible but imo a bit farfetched, even if the alliance lost the battle of Lordaeron, they wouldnt stop there...If anything they had all the more reason to ally with Kul'Tiras, and all the event at Zandalar would have played since i see no reason for the horde not to add the zandalari to their roster even if they won the war.

All in all Lor'themar is not a traitor

Sylvanas is a clearly unstable individual, there is some lucidity but its all being turned into overly complicated plans that achieve fuckall.

Well, either they both are insane. Or neither of them are, you pick.
Your feigned ignorance in that the void specifically threatens the sunwell isn't an argument.

Lor'themar didn't need to ban everyone who uses magic, just the idiots who decided to delve into the magic specifically the opposite of what powers their entire kingdom.

The guy who made it possible for Arthas to get past the elf gates used void magic, Dar'khan Drathir, the owner of the Book Umbric was studying, and Telogus rift is the result of them finishing Dar'khan's attempts to get there.

    Edit: This guy https://wow.gamepedia.com/Dar%27Khan_Drathir

The combination of it being the direct opposite of the Sunwell and the fact that the guy who let Arthas into their kingdom was a practitioner of the void is why the future Ren'dorei were exiled.

Blood Elves were based on a STRONG request from a poll of Asian players where many remarked on the Horde side that they and their girlfriends wanted a non-creepy femme race to play (Source)

The Void Elves are using Void magic to create temporary constructs to attack the Zandalari and the Horde - this isn't "insane," nor is it specifically "corruption" save of already deceased beings. This isn't the first time either the Alliance or the Horde has summoned constructs, briefly resurrected wildlife, or temporarily suborned natural forces to advance some specific cause.

I mean, yes, maligning the remains of dead creatures isn't nice or morally good - but there's nothing about the Void Elves that sets them apart from the 1,001 other times this has happened on both sides of the faction divide.

So you're going to blame the blood elf leader for the actions of the traitors that he exiled? -.-

We're getting deep now. This is almost as bad as when we started blaming Deathwing for Sylvanas becoming Warchief because he was the catalyst that got Garrosh into power to ultimately go crazy-go-nuts and get deposed.

Good job keeping up the tradition of making absolutely every thread (as dumb as this one may be) be about how evil Sylvanas is. Have a cookie.

You'll see them taking the field at 17:04 all through the fighting in the back alleys of Capitol City (the above group part of the Undercity). Lor'themar is present and speaks to Nathanos who is coordinating the feint.

Lor'themar and his little group of leaders are a bunch of liars and hypocrites. They find secret negotiating with the Alliance when shit with Horde goes bad as non treacherous, but studying of the void is so so "treacherous" that they have to exile them. Meanwhile they allow Death Knights, Warlocks, Shadow Priests in their ranks. They ally themselves with undead armies which burn elf homelands (ding dong ring a bell?), they ally themselves with trolls. They throw the elves out, they are saved by the Alliance and the faction accepts them and they are suddenly traitors. Dying in Ghostlands was obviously the most appropriate solution. Fun fact is that Sin'dorei are visiting Telogrus out of curiosity to learn more about the void changed elves. I feel that many of them do not have an issue with the Void Elves apart from Lor'themar etc.

That doesn't make him a traitor though, for gonna be open. Just garbage, he's been doing nothing since he was implemented. He is bowing in service to every warmongering facist/genocidal Warchief he has. So much for the proud lineage of the Sin'dorei, and their self-proclaimed "superiority" compared to inferior races. He loves licking orc or undead's boot every time. Why did Blizzard have to give us this nobody trash instead of Kael'thas? Why did they ruin the one true Blood Elf in all his glory...
