I posted the orginal source, its nice that they translated it wrong or somehow did not get what they ment, but that does not really change the facts.

Of hij in het verhoor dat daarop volgde ook expliciet heeft bevestigd dat hij handelde vanuit een terroristisch motief, zoals dat in de tenlastelegging staat, wil het OM "in het belang van het onderzoek" niet zeggen.

I hope the victims recover fully and they catch this guy. It doesn't make a lot of sense for crimes like this to happen in a place like the Netherlands.
