Raidboss Sylvanas

If she's a boss it will happen in the next expansion. Assume that N'Zoth made her a puppet.

I think the alliance Windrunners will set the stage to save their sister. Probably patch 9.2. With 9.3 being a N'Zoth raid.

I think Sylvanas was the easiest target for N'Zoth because she already had that spiteful rage inside of her.


We probably will not kill Sylvanas, instead set her free/dethrone her.

Blizz said Sylvanas being raid boss after all of this would be disappointment. So she will not be a raid boss.

I think that N'zoth will be coming out as the raid boss in 8.3. BFA is leaning more towards that rather than next xpac focusing on Old Gods. Think next expansion will be more centered around Void Lords.

Blizz says a lot of things you shouldn't rely on. And i thought undead were just heavily resistant, not actually immune. Plus, there are other ways to manipulate than just digging your void tentacles inside someone's head.

Even if they were just heavily resistant. I doubt Sylvanas one of the most strongest minded undead character would fall for old god corruption. But Sylvanas working with Old Gods willingly is something else. But surely not as their puppet or slave

Whennshe becomes a raid boss, I hope they stay away from the “corruption” angle. Sylvanas doesn’t need some Old God power or whispers to be evil. She just is and kind of always has been. She was the one plotting for her own purposes within the Horde since the beginning. Let her eventual fight reflect that.

I’d want to see things fitting for her. Some assassins waiting in the shadows to strike targets she calls out. Plague barrels coming in a various points. Raising those that die in the fight as forsaken to fight against the raid making deaths even more punishable than usual.I’d also love to see a banshee mechanic where if you don’t run from her when she goes banshee mode, you die or at least take massive damage.

She has a lot of potential for an interesting fight using her current powers. Let’s just not do the Garrosh true Horde thing. Let’s make it clear that she’s just in it for herself and not some delusion of a new Horde.

Azshara is also Wabringer. No sign of Azshara so far.

She is literally the end boss of the next tier.

She's not going to be a boss, Blizzard literally confirmed this when people screamed at them for copying the story of MoP to which they said she would not get the Garrosh treatment, meaning she won't even be a boss. At least not in this expansion, I do believe she'll be the primary antagonist in the next expansion though.

Sylvanas uses the accumulated Azerite, not to heal Azeroth. But rather to empower herself, and using this power she slays Azshara to gain her power of mental enchantment to make those near her obey and worship her. She then slays Helya, to gain control of the Valkyr and take over her realm of the Shadowlands as well! Finally she turns her attention to the last Old God, using her new blade she traps N'zoth within and uses his body to finally reach the World Soul of Azeroth! With a single black arrow she will strike down the very Heart of Azeroth itself and use the powers she has acquired to possess Azeroth! Turning the living world into one of perpetual twilight and death, even dragging the whole of Azeroth into the Shadowlands where Sylvanas word is law. The Horde is forever fractured by this act of betrayal and the various races seek out the various factions of Azeroth for purpose and protection. The Alliance desperately begins a campaign to end the horrors that Sylvanas has brought about and return Azeroth back to the realm of the living. Little realizing that both the forces of the Light as well as the Titans now view Azeroth as beyond redemption, and seek not to aid the beleaguerd world. But rather, to end it once and for all.

Jaina was also a warbringer. As was Illdian,and Khadgar. Who knows Azshara might become an allie later on. Like with Arthas and illidian, they broke off from the burning legion to do there own thing. Azshara might be doing the same thing as well. Otherwise having N'zoths gift should make the naga not attack you. Also keep in mind that the naga did follow illidian in warcraft 3. Has me wondering if there was a seperate branch of naga that broke off from Azshara that followed illidian and lady Vashj. Which could lead to the illidari bringing them in as allied races for both horde and alliance.

The more I see what she does the more I am convinced she will end up being Kerrigan 2.0 eventually, where all the crap she does will be in preparation of fight with Void Lords and what not.

They mentioned this in the announcement for BFA - that Azshara was the Gul'dan of this expansion. We've known this for a very very very long time.

she'll use her banshee form and that'll be a tanking mechanic and a 1 shot mechanic on heroic and mythic
