Can anyone else see this? Anyone bought it and confirm exactly what it does ?

I don't have any toys listed on my store. What location are you in?
I can see them in the US, but I had to log in. They didn't appear in the battle.net app
edit. I just checked again to get a screenshot and they are gone. It was 2 toys. One changed your appearance and the other was a set of faction themed fireworks you could launch over an enemy corpse. Both were $10

That's the toy to fund the MDI pool prize I assume.
It's been announced last month.

I couldn't find the other toy in the journal, but it seems cash shop toys are on the way.
Lol, make your offer for that poor man Kotick

Optional toys you don't need, giving no benefits and if you ignore them they won't affect gameplay. They could be $1000 dollars for all I care. If you have even a semblence of self control you know how to put the wallet down. If not then maybe you should seek real help or stupid enough you deserve to be screwed.
These are to support their eSports program. Proceeds will go towards the prize pool for the Mythic Dungeon Invitational and Arena World Championship.
Basically you can buy these to increase the payout that will go to the winners of those competitions. Similar idea to the OWL items in Overwatch, and other such items in several other games with major eSports scenes.
I agree. I could never begrudge people spending their money on what ever they want but a billion dollar company trumpeting record profits trying to get paying customers to fund their E:Sports event is having a laugh. If instead of saying "A portion of the sale of these toys will contribute to the prize pools for both WoW esports programs" they had said All the profits then i wouldn't find this outrageous.
fortnite and other similar games sell a weapon skin for 25 dollars none bats an eye
blizz sells something to fund esports like they do for years , witch hunt
