I still want a origional X-Men line up movie, Professor X, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast, Iceman and Angel... although there's a lot of white in that line up, so either this wont happen or someone is going to be blacked up...
For diversities sake they need to start with Giant Size X-Men. Maybe skip the origins and start the Giant Size X-Men storyline
You got Storm (African), Sunfire (Japanese), Wolverine (Canadian), Banshee (Irish), Colossus (Russian), Thunderbird (Native American), Nighcralwer (German), throw in Professor X and you got a progressive wet dream. And I for one wouldn't be against it either. It's one of my favourite X-Men rosters too.

Well X-Men: Apocalypse was trash, this next one doesn't look much better, so I'm all for a reboot at this point with the hope we'll get a real version of Marvel's X-Men instead of Bryan Singer's.
I kinda hope they keep Michael Fassbender. One of the few that rang well as Mags.
Human progress isn't measured by industry. It's measured by the value you place on a life.
Just, be kind.
About time. The only X-Men I liked was Logan and the characters that showed up in deadpool like colossus and cable.
The only one I will miss is Jackman as Wolverine. I think that will be a difficult re-cast for Disney considering how iconic he's become to the franchise.
I really hope they explore other mutants that Fox more or less ignored. Gambit, adult Rogue, being the main ones.
I've had just about enough X-Men for now. They were never a terrible exciting franchise to me in the first place, and despite the obviously brilliant castings of Prof. X, Wolverine, and Magneto (both young and old) they alone are not enough to make up for the horribly tacky and cliche rest of it.
Do we really want to go through all the origin stories and various degrees of individual angst a THIRD time?
Give it a rest.
I say good riddance. i agree, the only good part of the younger cast was Quicksilver. considering the worst MCU movie is better than the best fox men movie (leaving side stories like Logan and deadpool aside), i cant wait to see x-men finally brought into the fold, though itll be a shame to see them come in at the same time that much of the avengers are leaving.. but maybe thats the plan. the first major MCU arch was avengers, maybe the second will be X-men, and hopefully they can make it as consistently excellent as the avengers chapter has been.
its getting awful feedback from screenings, too. its going to be a complete shitshow. at this point i dont even think they should bother releasing it. marvel is going to completely throw out the entire fox canon, so its pointless, and its going to lose money.
The only one that I really liked and can remember well is First Class.
Days of Futures Past was a straight up costume and prop expo, I don't remember the characters they added having ANY character story, build up, background or anything whatsoever. Bishop is kinda just there, same with Psylocke and Psylocke has had a different actress like every single appearance and the movie was just confusing and bad and Ellen Paige is blah.
The rest I was basically a kid when I enjoyed them, they don't hold up well, the dialogue doesn't hold up.
Wolverine and Origins both kill themselves with their comically bad, end villain fights and plots. They're soooooooo bad. Aquaman and Black Panther have that same trope: 2 buff dudes in tight armor have a flamboyant duel at the end for their honor?
Apocalypse is decent, but I'm tired of Jennifer Lawrence and the resting "im confused" face.
This full reboot is actually good news for me!
