If you want to get laid, stick with short.
If you want to get laid, stick with short.
3, but change your part to be in the middle.
also, grow your beard longer to match.
#3. If you have Pantene hair then rock it.
Depends what you are going for, I am going to vote 2. Although I think the ladies like the Unkempt look if you got some strong scented musk to go along with it. A mixture of blood, sweat and your natural bacteria. It's scientifically proven /s
Number 2 though.

The first picture with short hair definitely 100% looks best on you. I'm sorry to say but you don't wear long hair all that well.
That being said you look really good in picture #1.
Mmm. I'd say #1 with a slightly fuller beard. It looked nice on you imo, but in the end you should do with what makes you the most confident.

I mean you look like a normal person in the first picture then the second and third you look like a guy who works at the Apple store and is a 30+ year old virgin.
Cool, I appreciate the feedback. The consensus is overwhelmingly in favor of short hair, so short it stays. As far as beard, it only takes about a month to get a pretty full beard, so I'll probably just mix it up as I go.
Also, when I hair was long, it naturally curled like that. I actually had to make an effort to straighten it from time to time, just to keep it from going full "80's hair band" on me. But I appreciate the honesty; I like to think I had nice hair, but if I didn't pull it off, no point growing it out (unless I was going to just donate it again).

Picture #2
Human progress isn't measured by industry. It's measured by the value you place on a life.
Just, be kind.
Definitely the short hair looks best.
Look more grown up and mature with short hair, long hair more like a friend to drink beer with and have a good time.
So gf and laid short hair, friends and beer long hair.
All three hair lengths suit you well. Although when it's short, the style makes the final product (you) a lot more than when it's long, as it simply does what it can do which is being long. Then it depends on if it suits you or not, and it does. Looking at your pics, I feel like you've felt the most free when it was at its longest, so I would say aim for that, and think about what you could really do with it (while getting there) to make it a different and even better experience. You already did it once, do it even better now, basically.
I used to have hair as long as yours, and I did nothing with it. I ended up just wearing a pony tail and at some point cutting it off, which is about 9 years ago now. The past year i decided to let it grow out again and I'm around the length of your second pic now. Before I did this I had my sides cut 1-2 centimeters shorter than the top of my head before starting to grow it out long again (see https://i.imgur.com/4egYceP.jpg) and it's the most comfortable I've ever felt with my hair. I'm also curly and using Argan hair oil so it doesn't go dry and go all over the place. I also like the shine.
I would also upgrade my glasses if I were you. I have glasses as well, and they are a big part of my self conscious being. The frame you're using right now is anything but fashionable, which, like it or not, also has an impact on your how comfortable you end up feeling with yourself. If you like them a lot, then that's fair enough and you can ignore this bit of feedback.

Short with big beard is dope too. Just change the haircut when it's short, one that works better with the beard.
Hmm, fair point, although like you say, no way for me to really gauge gender of users. I would figure fellow men would have a decent enough idea on what's considered attractive, though I suppose it ultimately probably varies person to person.
They're too pretty different "looks". I know my current employer is definitely happy that I cut my hair (they actually asked me when I interviewed when I cut it; I told them no, got hired anyways, eventually cut it anyways). I know at least one female coworker said she was "thrilled" that I cut my hair, but then again she's married so I don't quite know what to do with her opinion.
In any case... I definitely appreciate all the replies. And also, just generally how friendly yall have been. It's a nice change of pace!
I say #3, but I'm a bit biased.
