    Space pirates? Yes, space pirates.

You read that right, we apparently need a "Space Force" because of... space pirates. At least that is according to Texas Senator Ted Cruz during his speech to Congress on it yesterday:

Surprised it wasn't a cry for Gundams so we can protect against space Mexicans and their drill that pierces the heavens.

Well, the majority religion in Somalia is Islam. And Somali pirates are a thing. It's only a matter of time until they commandeer a SpaceX Crew Dragon pod and take to the high atmosphere for loot and booty. Then we'll have those Muslim Somali Space Pirates!

Who's that old, worn-out, shell of a man in Cruz's seat? HOLY SHIT that's what the last 2 years have done to him? Damn!

In all fairness, I'm sure @Skroe will be here soon enough to say Cruz is putting the best possible spin on Trump's laughably-presented idea. Until then, just listen for maracas...it could be space banditos.

Nah, she was just checking if this was still real life.

Gundams are Japanese. We need American mecha!

We need to have an economy in space before we worry about space piracy.

    - - - Updated - - -

We don't have the technology for space piracy to be a thing, we don't have the economy for it to be a thing. We need to worry first about exploration and setting up moon colonies and then maybe there'll be an argument for a space force.

Right now, it's a lot of money wasted for nothing.

The imaginary space pirates have no concern for such things. They're busy pillaging uranus.

Real talk, it is probably more about just letting it known publicly that it is already there with the pretend layer being we are just now "building" it. Space pirates, well, its Ted.. so its going to be a little crazy. His dad killed JFK.

No one ever accused conservatives of being particularly bright. Knowing Texas conservatives, being intelligent would be a reason to vote against someone in an election.

People voted for this guy. He's not totally retarded, he's just spineless in defending Trumps's idiocy.

Would this space wall have a huge gap in it like the proposed earth wall?

Yes, it does... a human can penetrate the firmament...

Trump mocked his wife, and Cruz just continued to brown nose him.

I’m more interested in how Ted justifies his bible thumping, while acting like he doesn’t know that there are no pirates at firmament. I’m not asking for an answer, since we cannot discuss it... think of it as a hypothetical... but, at which point do these crooks choose to clutch the Bible and when to ignore it? Is it the cunt? It has to be the cunt...

Edit: I don’t like Ted Cruz... lol
