A Knights of the Old Republic movie is apparently in the works. It is speculated to be based on the critically acclaimed game with the same name that was released in 2003.

"You know you that bitch when you cause all this conversation."
Damn, we know of its spoiler already then... no epic "I am your father!" moment for us.
Regardless, neat!
Well for those who don’t know they’re in for one helluva surprise. It’s better than “No, I am your father” because it’s so personal and unexpected. Even the hints in plain sight aren’t enough to reveal it. Chris Avallaine or whatever his name is better make sure no agendas ruin the story that he wrote 16-17!years ago
Example: Bastila’s costume should stay to the original or the 2008 remastered with the mustard yellow undergarment that they use in the games today on the App Store and SWTOR. And the main character should remain Male.

Hm. Perhaps I should play the game. I assume I get the best experience of the story then.
Hi
If it's going to be an adaptation of the game, then I don't see it being good...
I think people are misinterpreting that. I think it is going to be set in that era, not based on the game. KotOR is part of the EU. Disney Star Wars isn't going to adapt the EU and admit it into solid canon, I don't think.

I...actually did see the big twist coming when I played it. It was a particular conversation on Dantooine that first tipped me off and then the other aspects unfolding that I started to figure it out in advance. Sorry, but not as shocking as "I am your father" due to the Sixth Sense-esque tip offs imo.
It had my mouth dropping even as the ship was flying by after the reveal cinematic my mouth was still dropped as a kid. The only thing that didn't shock me too much was when a certain betrayal happened and another plot twist that hit me was when you could join that said person and then betray in return to reclaim that destiny that was taken by a certain individual.
Nothing has came close to that extremity except for Endgame's final battle where someone becomes worthy and DEFINITELY Infinity War's big moment.

Wasn't there supposed to be a new old republic game as well? I remember hearing something like that in one of the reveal shows some years ago.
As a person who isn't attracted to females and growing up, Bastila has always been my favorite character and her outfit was one of those reasons. She looks fucking awesome and usually skimpy dressed people aren't usually awesome or the skimpiness just doesn't look right.
What makes it unique is that she's the only one in the order who wears these robes that we've seen.

If they do make a KOTOR 3 it'll probably be a prequel to the first one and be about the Mandalorian Wars.

Revan is the 2nd most overrated character in the entire mythos. He'd be completely forgotten if you didn't play as him in the first game with that twist involved.
It needs to be said that most people who are gonna see it have played the game so they are aware of the twist that's practically made it what it is, so it's not gonna be as potent as intended.
I'm curious to see how it will develop
Better not be the GoT producers...
