Not even close. You may have 1 example, I can probably find dozens just to show that the right wingers doxxing and death threats are far worse. Including right wingers sending bombs to people that are critical of Trump. Just because they didn't work, doesn't mean they aren't dangerous.

Soph is a puppet for her parents opinions, although I somewhat agree with the MAGA schoolkid being taken too far - that video was taken heavily out of context (although he was still being an asshole).

I used to be a janitor (unpaid thread deletion low authority mod wannabe) on 4chan, around 2006/2007, back when WT Snacks was the actual active mod running the day to day operations. Got it only cause I used to listen and commented on his podcast a lot.

4chan used to be amazing like 10+ years ago. Before the creation of /pol and when /b wasn’t a dumping ground for porn. Honest discussions and brutal satire. The political climate wasn’t as polarized as it is nowadays which means there were ample users from all sides (no sides?) of the spectrum. The archaic and ugly design kept normies out, and there wasn’t the media hype about it sending edge-lords there to spew their shit. Around 2010 things went terribly South, around the time of the whole Jessi Slaughter incident. I think the notoriety of the event invited the first normie invasion.
