For some reason people were responding sincerely to theo, why anyone would? It is beyond me.

There is exactly one (1) case (which is an edge case) in which I wouldn't vote for Bernie, and would just sit it out, and that would be if he picked Tulsi Gabbard for his VP. Surely he and the people around him know that, and can't be that fucking dumb.
I'm actually curious on what issues is she wrong for Bernie? Her and Nina Turner are both the best choices as they have been undying loyal to the cause this whole time and remain on friendly terms with Sanders.

Bernie's whole appeal is that he's reforming the system while rejecting the old ways and methods. Ironic that this is comming from an old guy, no less. :P
I am curious to see how this is so? She endorsed him in 2016, has suffered for her support of him, and has defended him while Lizzy Warren tried to accuse him of Sexism. On the issues I don't think they are a whole world apart.

I don't think she'd make a good VP for Sanders, but I do think she'd make a good Secretary of State.

But I also think Sanders needs a VP that is more palatable for the DNC establishment, but who is also just progressive enough for the Sanders base not to break out in hives just thinking of him/her.

Booker seems like a good option for that for me.

He'd also make the Sanders ballot more diverse, cuz apparently a working class Jewish Civil rights activist is not diverse enough for Twitter Tears Crowd.

The one argument somebody made a week or so ago is the only good one I heard, that she needs to be in the Senate seat as we need as many bodies there as we can in the senate as possible.

Having said that, We need somebody as close to Bernie (and as popular) to be VP because his age will be a factor in this race, thus his VP choice will have to be VERY important that it reflects his policies as close as possible while also still being inspiring. Remember in '08 when that feckless dolt McCain chose Sarah Fukwit Palin? That choice was the outright move that killed his election chances purely because nobody wanted to risk that stupid bint being anywhere near the oval office...

Well, it was that and it was also a clear demonstration of how Republicans view women in politics: as a vagina. Palin wasn't clever or skilled or experienced, but she had an innie instead of an outie and to Republicans that made her just as valuable as Hillary or any other woman. And it was insulting to women, it was insulting to voters in general. They thought: "Hey if we put a vagina on the stage, we'll get vagina votes!" yeah no it doesn't work like that, especially when you chose some twit from AK and decide her strongest feature is her legs.

The hell hath frozen over. We agree on something. I might just spontaneously burst into flames where I stand.

Tulsi is a co-sponsor of the M4A act and has back Sanders since 2016.

I think a bunch of people are still mad at her for that and went into a meltdown because she voted present at the exercise in futility and burning of political capital known as the "Trump Impeachment".

I'd choke Trump in a spoonful of piss if I could, but even to me the whole Impeachment seemed a dumbass pointless blunder that did far more harm than good.

    Right back at you.

I'd say Tulsi or Turner are good VP choices. Though I think Tulsi is done in the House of Reps so she is open where as Nina Turner is locked in Ohio? I think both have been loyal soldiers though. Tulsi however has some crossover appeal with lots of voters a Democrat rarely if ever gets so there is also logic in him picking her just to reconfigure the political map. Turner I know less about but she is a popular black state senator from a critical state who has good chops and instincts too.

Man, if Super Tuesday happened right now and the polls for California were 100% accurate, Bernie would get 100% of delegates from California.

Yeah, this is where I'm at on the "mad at her" stage. Sanders can find a VP who's been a long-time backer of his ideology without bringing that kind of baggage into his campaign.

Nina Turner is just as good of a choice. I'll admit IDK where Tulsi Gabbards personal goals lead.

I'd personally say she should run with her crossover appeal; go GOP and simply work to reforge that party against the Libertarians and hopefully have both parties essentially be economically Leftist/Socialist and just bicker on social issues rather than both be brutally capitalist and vaguely disagree on like some social issues.

For Sanders, Nina Turner is probably a better pick. She is generally likable and doesn't carry any bad baggage.

Something like Treasury would suit her (make Wall Street shit itself) and she could actually make sweeping and transformative changes to the workings of the Treasury, it's relationship to the Federal Reserve, the runnings of the IRS etc.

Instead of having buffoons hell bent on breaking government we could have someone who strengthens it and makes it work for the people.

In my perfect La La Land, I'd want Sanders president, someone a bit more centrist (but still committed to M4A) something like Cory Booker for VP, then Warren as an attack dog in the Treasury and someone stubborn as a brick but committed to diplomacy liken Gabbard as Secretary of State.

I like this choice of cabinet members for a President Sanders

This is great.... You were on a tangent because some of Bernie supporters wouldn't blindly vote for another candidate if they won the primaries.... Yet here you are saying why you won't vote for Bernie if he wins the primary.

I try not to think about these things. Then again, Nevada far exceeded my expectations.

That would be a LOT of delegates for Bernie
