Heavily sourced and cited about how moderate Democrats don't win presidential elections.
First minute is hard enough to get through, but let's power through this.

"The narrative going forward will be whether a moderate or a progressive will have a better chance of taking on Donald Trump."

Where has this guy been? That's been the narrative since this primary season kicked off.

"perceived deep state conspiracy in ukraine"

    Oh come on.

Points out that most Democrats are on the moderate end of the spectrum which...sure doesn't make it seem like Sanders would be their first choice then.

Constantly pearl clutching about how dirty the primary is getting is ironic.

And then goes on to dishonestly reference old Biden comments and then seemingly "lament" that the Democratic party is now more progressive than it was 12 years ago as if that's any kind of a shock or somehow bad for Biden.

5 minutes in and he's pretty much intolerable. It's hard to find YouTube pundits that don't lean on schtick and nonsense in trying to make their points, and I find it difficult to struggle through it. Progressives need better spokespeople.

Pretty clear in the headlines and article that Sanders was aghast (to say the least) that it happened. Article was also entirely clear that it was a protester, and he was removed from the rally at that point.

Now - can you, or someone, please link all this evidence of media bias against Sanders. YOU link it. Not me doing your job for you.

Clinton won because of a third party spoiler in both elections.

Obama did not run in 2008 as a moderate democrat, at all. His campaign was vague but it was extremely populist.

This has been, and is a bad argument.

Old people still get out to vote in much higher numbers than younger voters.

The "just wait for old people to stop voting" argument has been around for decades, and it's as imminent today as it was 4 years ago, 8 years ago, 12 years ago, or 20 years ago.

No. Obama was a moderate that ran on improving things for the lower class then abandoned those things.

Clinton had to be convinced to take on positions and thus her fakeness got to be on display.

I was sorta expecting a central recess on the internet giving out marching orders like "copy-paste this as far and wide as you can, comrade". I actually looked for it but couldn't find anything.

Chris Mathews compared Sanders winning a primary to the Nazi invasion of France.
Chuck Todd called Sanders supporters brownshirts.
WaPo ran 16 negative articles about Sanders in 16 hours.
Numerous headlines from the Nazi flag incident are along the lines of "Nazi flag at sanders rally condemned".

Hey would be nice if you watched the video, because he talks about both Clinton and Obama. Obama ran a progressive campaign on universal healthcare, and Clinton won because Ross Perot was the most successful third party run in the history of the US. It's all addressed right in the video if you watch it.

Cody's schtick is more about being funny than being informative. He's more like a much-cruder John Oliver, with a much smaller staff and budget. He's had a few vids that are worth watching for information content alone, but those tend to be takedowns of specific people like Buttigieg and Ben Shapiro.

Beyond that, you've got to go in know he has a recurring series of videos about the dangers of nuclear-powered teleporting feral hogs. So a lot of the time, he's being hyperbolic to be funny.

Biden doesn't support progressive goals. He supports credit card companies.

thats because george w bush was a widely unpopular president by 2008 and had damaged the republican party so much that john mccain didn't really have much of a chance. george h.w. bush was sunk by his famous speech "read my lips no new taxes".

I think the modern "We can't afford M4A" Democrats are missing HW based on how bad tax and healthcare reform are.

This doesn't really alter my opinion that young people suck at democratic participation. That it's consistent over time just means we've been consistently terrible at motivating young people to vote.
Populists (and "national socialists") look at the supposedly secret deals that run the world "behind the scenes". Child's play. Except that childishness is sinister in adults.
