Getting Dodge gear on Warlock.

I noticed something wierd with 8.2 gear: Both the punchcards and benthic gear.


I had the punchcard have +29 dodge, and now I just rolled a +80 dodge rating on a cloth benthic gear... is that even usefull/supposed to happen?

Punchcards can have random stats on them apparently, although I didn't think it would include dodge. Benthic gear shouldn't, because afaik there isn't any "<item> of the <name>" that is dodge any more. It's all a mix of Haste/versa/crit/mastery.

Isn't dodge a tertiary stat?

Is dodge even a stat anymore? Maybe OP meant avoidance.

Dodge doesn't appear on gear anymore....hasn't since WoD...

Avoidance can roll randomly on any gear, along with indestructible, speed, and leech. Totally normal, not game changing, just nice bonuses.

There are both punch cards with dodge, and benthic gloves that give dodge. OP meant those.

There are a few pieces of gear now that give dodge. The punch cards that drop from Mechagon are a common drop that drops for all classes randomly from mobs. Benthic gear has dodge as one of their "extra" effects.

Currently, both Dodge AND Parry both still exist as potential stats - It's just that you'll only every find them on Vanilla greens outside of the weirdness of 8.2.

(Hit, Expertise, and Spell Res also still exist on vanilla greens)
