I find it very funny that we may have just cracked the secret of Bastion in here, but it doesn't really matter because it would still feature all the usual suspects we've guessed and doesn't really confirm the new class or races either.

Same. Even totally redesigned being back in the borders of Northrend would be rather boring. There's only so much you can do with the place.

Shadowbringers similarity would be just a coincidence. Shadowbringers was announced in November 2018, Blizzard works way ahead of time so they would've already been working on the content for Shadowlands by that point, like for example Metzen left Blizzard in 2016 but the last thing he worked on was the BFA Lordaeron scenario which released in 2018, so they're definitely well on track and any connections to SHB would be just a weird coincidence.

While the impacts of said similarity would probably end up being minimal, they still probably would want to change it to something else. I'm not educated on game design by any means but I'm sure that when Shadowbringers was announced they had enough time to change it.

There was a lot wrong with WoD, but it being Outlands smashed together was not at all the bad part. The world design was great.

Ironically it'll probably be like reverse WoD where the areas are split apart and floating. Northrend will get Outlands'd.
