This is a hugely salient point i feel like people forget lol

At the very least if the veil is forever broken its better have huuuuuuuuuuuuuge ramifications

(That said i fully expect at least one or two characters to work some plot magic and get back into azeroth because Rule Of Cool)

Lore doesn't matter. Money matters. They will use an excuse for new races and they don't care how "bad" it feels for a death themed race to come to the mortal plain because 99% of players don't give a fuck, they say "OH COOL VAMPIRE/ANGEL" and pay for a race change.

    Money > Lore

There is no reason for Shadowlands dead people to be playable, if anything, they can use this time to add old requested allied races that aren't relevant, that can somehow involve the Shadowlands.

No, sorry, you aren't getting Ogres and Naga. Casual audiences and new content comes first.

Which is stupid and lore destroying, but hey, it's blizzard.

This whole expansion is "lore destroying". Blizzard does NOT care.

Nathrezim are angel vampires and the helm of domination was made by a BDSM dimensional king instead of demons.

    Money > Lore
If this was true, Alliance would have High Elves. A 700 page thread of sheer REEEE on this very website proves otherwise.
Me not that kind of Orc!

But the twelve people who played WC2 and still play WoW demand ogres!1!!! Why won't Blizzard listen????

What in Shadowlands destroyed the lore? Other than Sylvanas' cringey storyline, it's not a WoD. Adding Shadowlands "races" to become playable would destroy the point of the Shadowlands.

there is a reason: people want then

so they can change/edit/adapt, the lore, to fit that.

Money doesn't always determine things. Helf isn't there because Blizzard doesn't want White People Elves to be the majority race on two factions. If they let people be White People Elves everywhere they'd be rolling in the dough, but both factions would look basically the same: they don't seem to want that.

    Money just definitely trumps lore.

People also want every class for every race, as well as many other absurd things.

There needs to be a level of Lore Continuity and Integrity, but Blizzard and Continuity go together like Oil and Water, so we probably will have Shadowland Covenants playable.

but the problems boils down of how they are also on the other faction already, they will not mess with the wasp nest

its not a big of problem, like they said there is native "living" races in shadowlands, after we help then, they could join the factions to explore azeroth like other allied races did, its not more absurd of we already have.

My quick thought on why covenant races would want to come to/help Azeroth is simple: After the events of Shadowlands anima levels are still low so they get sent into Azeroth and its constant world-ending threats and wars to help kill some things and send some anima back home.

I'm here for it, throw in some Castlevania references as well and I'll be happy.
