Sorry, I've been working a lot and I haven't filled my duties as Vice-Admiral haha! But eh, I'm only two weeks late. So, what are the main theories? World revamp / Shadowlands and Dragon Isles I presume?

Anything out of the box so far?

No idea but I don't think we're getting anything through trademarks. This hasn't happened in years, and certainly not this far away from Blizzcon.

The Awakenings leak had a massive world revamp so no, it wasn't a massive pile of garbage. :P

Didn't we get the Battle for Azeroth trademark before announcement?

Being adventurers makes more sense than being champions. The crowded Heart Chamber is pretty silly. How many hearts does Azeroth have?

How does it make sense that the guy who was helped to stop several world-threatening villains and even met the actual Pantheon to not be someone of significance?

It's not a literal hear of the titan. Just an item made that can channel and store azerite to and then dump it in the heart chamber to heal the Heart of azeroth. And in lore it is confirmed that there are multiple necklaces (there is one discarded in Stormsong IIRC)

I remember mist of pandaria was trademarked very early on, not even a year after cataclysm was released. Cataclysm was trademarked around eight months before release. Wod also about a year in advance.
But it seems like blizzard has gotten better in not spoiling their expansion titles months in advance. The legion trademark appeared days after the announcement. The Bfa trademark appeared about three hours before the announcement. But i don't know if the leak happened prior or after that.

I doubt we get a solid name this time around until very close to blizzcon.

It's pretty delusional to think otherwise.

Blizzard has opened god knows how many story plots this expansion, just waiting to be expanded upon.
Not to mention that Blizzard will continue to push out expansions as long as WoW makes money.

I'd rather question the existence of 8.3.5 (or even 8.3) at this point. By Legion's time two years ago we already had 7.3 available (okay, in 12 days but the argument still stands) and in BfA we don't even have 8.2.5 yet.

Blizz did say they thought the content was too fast in Legion. So it is understandable that 8.3 would be later than 7.3.

The skimpiness of 8.2.5 should be assurance enough that 8.3 is coming.

I mean we discussed this endless times already but here again...

Legion content patches had too much content for the amount of time they came. BfA patches have compared little content and came later. See the issue? Too much + faster doesn't stack up with too little + slower patches.

And 8.3 later than 7.3 isn't the point, it's that they are behind one entire .x.5 patch in timing which is at least 3 months. 8.3 maybe, maybe gets released this year which makes its delay 3-4 months compared to Legion. 1 month later? Understandable. 2 months? Okay, that's much. 3 or 4? No way.

Oh and I don't doubt we'll get 8.3, it's just their schedule is totally off or has been shaken by unforeseen developments (like majority abandoning BfA early, most BfA features being heavily disliked etc.).
