Are we really having a "They're gonna DELAY IT" conversation again?
Are we really having a "They're gonna DELAY IT" conversation again?
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
Poor forums can't handle all this Shadowlands.

All hope is lost. PTR went back to Test from Release with tonights small patch. Oct 6th is what it is now.
Anyone else see more pages then there are?
Ion said that the accidentally removed haircolors would be back in the next PTR build. That in itself already implied the 6th to me.
Beyond that, there's the 2-week warning thing, plus the Corruption vendor rotation.

This is the final nail in the coffin for 29th - there's no way in hell they'll do server merges and deploy the pre-patch at the same time.

I know it's not happening, but I will be annoyed if they delay the expansion. I already have my vacation request in.
they're not delaying it. its absurd to think so. it's bad for business, especially the shareholders.
"You know you that bitch when you cause all this conversation."
Rip the 29th. More ridiculous delays extending the farce that is BfA.
Play the coffin dance.

Again, delaying an expansion would be pretty unheard, but... it’s still 2020 and Corona is a thing. That’s an excuse for almost everything. So it can be done without major hassle.
I‘m glad we can put the 29th to rest. I just have to find the guy that was dead set on next Tuesday and offered me 1 million gold if it doesn’t get released on the 29th.

6th definitely seems to be when the pre-patch releases, though I feel that Blizzard reverting the PTR back to a testing build instead of a release candidate meant they always wanted a standard 4 week Pre-patch, but decided to go for a 3 week one when bugs showed up.
And yeah, I really cannot see the pre-patch being shorter than 3 weeks, nor for the launch to be delayed outside a proper Force Majeure like a sudden Covid-19 outbreak or a fire in the Blizzard offices.
The world revamp dream will never die!
