even the new realms have 5k+ queues

blizzard asked us to move from shaz/golemag. so i did - i joined razorgore a fresh server that had low pop yesterday.

today while im work its been steadily rising since around 6 hours ago - currently the queue is 6k and 3hours wait.

this isnt even prime time for the EU,

i dont see the queues getting significantly lower in "2days" as per Ion.

this isnt a thread moaning about queues, but more of how grossly did under estimate it.

This is just the release. Relax. At this poin in time at for example at wotlk release servers were down.

A shit ton of people will soon stop playing and the queue will go down on most servers.

I think people are fed up of relaxing, that's all they have been doing while they wait to log in. Also WOTLK servers for me were fine, absolutely rammed and busy for sure but it hasn't been this bad since WOD launch. Also, people have booked time off work to play the game, so they don't really want to wait 2 weeks for everyone to quit and numbers to calm down so they can play.

Silverspine is a PvP server without any queue.

Changing for a ultra "FULL" server to a less "FULL" server will still have queues. It's kinda obvious.

I followed the advice and changed servers and still a massive queue.
fully expected it, but clearly the advice of swapping servers to avoid long wait times isnt the solution

30mins + que in every realm I have characters in, got two guildies(no lifers, feels good to say that) in there already so no way I am changing server just to level. Better to just wait a couple of days then. HM Mechagon + m+ with guildies today and raid day tomorrow anyway, so thursday is a good day to start I suppose.

Also, considering we're not even 24h post launch... chill. But get ready for a MASSIVE QUEUE'D WEEKEND! I'm expecting full\closed QUEUES on the bigger realms.

Zantalar capital there's 4 people there normally its very crowded.
rustfeather spawned and 3 of us killed it.

thank god my lock can solo most of the rares but can well understand the wait times
loads must be on classic, whether it last is the big question now

All the servers have queues, and no it's not about being impatient. Use your brain, I already have a character and a guild and friends on a server that we chose, even if I switched servers and abandoned my char (that I've already invested hours in) and all my friends I would have to queue. Unless I wanted to play on an RP server, by myself with a bunch of space cadets.

Your magic solution where you haven't thought any of it through or considered anything at all.

The new German PvP server they opened 2 hours ago has a +4000 queue already. Just sayin'. And it's only 5pm in Europe, primetime begins in the next 1-2 hours.

Again, there are servers without a queue. Thats a fact. Full servers are full and they cant make them not full. Theres no way of them fixing this. Not at all. You either roll on a new server and lose couple hours of progress or you stay most of your future hours in a queue. Your decision.

They opened only one new German PvP server 2 hours ago - queue is at +4000 on this brand new server (+40min). How do I know? I wanted to switch.

PvP server are in high demand for Germany yet Blizzard's seems resistent. Lucifron, the "main" German PvP server has +20.000 queues, Venoxis isn't better.

No, there is another one about 10 minutes ago. Dragon's Call. And yeah Lucifron is the fullest Server on whole EU. I've checked the queues on all full servers.

i'm interested in trying classic but i saw this coming a mile away. i'm more than happy to wait a week or 2 and actually be able to play.
