Thumbs down Ok video game industry now this is too much

    Original trailer:

    Youtuber:

Game made for 3 year old and it pretty much has a slot machine in it. Its like they are trying to get regulations up faster.
Back in the days even nintendo removed slot machines from their pokemon games (video game corner) and those didnt hurt anyone financaly.
Its strange it wasnt EA this time to pull this off. But the same publisher that also added casino in gta online. Wich banned entrance in some countrys and i guess its gona be same with some other ones. Lucky them tho.

Don't worry, they're planning to layer commercials into the sports "games" next.

Real talk though: When are people also going to start holding the leagues responsible for this shit? The NBA is complicit in this crap.

This is what you get, for supporting greedy companies such 2K or EA.
If you are Activision fan boy. Please don't talk to me.

I don't give a fuck, about your opinion.

Sports games fans are the biggest rubes in the industry. They are the cattle keeping companies afloat so of course they would take this level of horseshit.

i mean look at the recent voice 'acting' debacle to see how little demand for quality there is in sports games. They just get the latest yearly product because of reasons no grander than "but its feefa bruv innit? sound" like the joke about call of duty but for real.

People that buy official sports games arent gamers anyway, they are mere cattle in human form that buy anything with an appropriate logo next to it. They could sell them a turd with the fifa logo on it, to be frank EA and 2K are putting in way too much efforts still.

This is what publishers are doing these days to the cattle.

Americans are the Chinese of the west. The main reason people tolerate them is because they are too big to ignore.

If I'm being honest, and I've been saying it for years, CoD and sports gamer's are the epitome of casual. It's amazing that a shit fest like Fortnite has managed to supersede the amount of shit casualness in gaming that CoD and sports games created.

Why is there so much basketball in my gambling simulator????

NBA2K has went down in quality a lot over the few last years, but this honestly feels like the devs laughing at people and saying you're going to buy it anyhow.

Hahahahahah it's a literal slot machine and still it's a matter of interpretation? Rofl.

I suppose they're just going all out while they can since i can see lootbox/microtx being heavily regulated over time. I expect EA and similar just going out "but they're using virtual currency you can farm in game and we just give the option to buy it with money".

It will be a mess. Worse and worse shit into games until they get brutally and halfassedly stopped just in time for the next way to make money (ads in game are definitely going to make their way into PCs/consoles as they are already a standard on mobile).
No one wants to choose. Everyone wants everything.

Not shocking at all. It's a sad thing to see but it won't be stopping any time soon.

Okay okay people are free to enjoy whatever games they like.

But I've always thought the very concept of "sports" simulators to be beyond retarded. So if they wanna milk the (sub)humans who rather than actually play an existing game want to vegetate on a sofa playing a simulation of that game, then good.

Seriously guys, this forum would be a better place if everyone just stopped acknowledging Zenkai. It's just demeaning to everyone.

Thank god for games like this, honestly.

Because companies like EA are so fucking greedy and have such huge boners for the gambling market that they're now just putting straight up slot machines in the game.

And all that this will do is result in legislation that comes down hard against them.

So let's all thank EA for eventually shooting themselves in the foot.

Hope the money was worth it you greedy cunts.

Playing a pickup game with friends is a world apart from picking your favorite team and going on a championship run. Are you from outside the US? I ask because the dorms were filled with people playing Tecmo Bowl and Madden when I went to school and I'm not sure sports games, with the exception of FIFA, are popular outside of the US.
