What happens to current pieces of AZERITE ARMOR scrapped next week ?

I have say 40k residuum, what happens if I buy 3 pieces and scrap them next week ? (my point is obviously that I'm not turned on by 400 extra gold)

With scheduled maintenance on January 14:
Titan Residuum will not drop from any source for one week. This includes scrapping or disenchanting Seasonal gear.

You can still scrap them later, but "According to earlier reporting, Season 3 and below Azerite armor will not be providing residuum in Season 4."

You'll get the crafting mats (cloth, leather, ore, expulsom) and nothing more. Basically your choice is between some crafting mats or 400g.
