Their hypocrisy and lies know no bounds. Most GOP shrillers don't even understand the basics of what the House and Senate side of the Impeachment process involve.

Graham is so far in the closet his ass is hanging out in Narnia, pretty good odds Mitch has some juicy blackmail material proving it.

We all know he likes dicks way more than vagoos. That in itself is not a problem.

Evangelicals are the poster children for "Out of sight, out of mind",if he isn't walking around holding hands with another guy then he has deniability, and if he gets caught he can just claim the devil made him do it then stage a couple prayer sessions with a pastor who likes fat donations being dropped in the plate, then all is forgiven.

That all only applies if you're a Republican politician,if you're a Democrat you are the spawn of Satan and condemned to hell for all eternity.

Well, not to stray too far into "forbidden topics", but c'mon. You're expecting rational thinking?

BBC put together a nice compilation of Republicans and Fox hosts pathetically calling the impeachment inquiry a "coup", defending Trump's calls for foreign investigation into a political opponent a "joke", a few folks like Flake who actually criticized him, and ended it with a non-answer from a Republican rep on Trump.

Apparently necessary reminder that trying to de-legitimize the normal procedures of law and governance is, like, Stage 1 of "how to implement a fascist dictatorship".

Alright, I'm just going to call this what it is. Fascism. Republicans are the fascist party.

Agreed. They are full bore 1930's Germany at this point. Those early-Trumpkins shrilling non-fascist whataboutism are probably just dying to apologize.

They were always fascists, we are simply past the point of them having any plausible deniability on the issue. They don't get to say that they were choosing the lesser of two evils, or try and deflect towards how shitty of a person Hillary is.

Don't ever let them off the hook, relegate them to obscurity, mock them openly, stop believing anything they ever say, and disassociate with all of them. When Trump is out of office, and they seek to be re-admitted into normalcy, don't let them. I've largely cut the fascists out of my life, I've turned away from the racists, those who support sexual assault, and peeping in on little girls. I don't want people like that around my kids.

Questions are out now whether Rudi should be charged as a non registered foreign agent.

I'm having trouble with that full process. While I agree with you in general overall and in specific on several points, I also know that post-Drumpf we'll have to have a healing process. We'll have to try and be the better people, to heal this nation (if that's even possible).

I don't know how to balance those two.

All deniability is gone. They're literally pledging loyalty to Trump, not the country. Fascist party needs to be dismantled.

Let me know when they are willing to admit they were wrong, and promise to not be fascists any longer.

I agree, that has been gone a very long time. I get not wanting to vote for Hillary, but it's been three years. If they still support a fascist after three years, then they are fascists.

How are we going to heal the nation when 1 side is fascists who watch only their propaganda news that reaffirms their commitment to Dear Leader? That side's going to believe it's a coup and that Democrats are traitors and are going to make the US socialist.

How are we ever going to cut through that level of propaganda?

Yeah, if someone voted for Trump, but no longer supports him that's one thing.

Completely different for the fascists that continue to support him.

There's very few people who actually stopped supporting him. It would seem that the vast majority of people who claimed they were simply voting for the lesser of two evils, were lying to hide their fascist beliefs.

I have spoken with people who claim they don't really support Trump. But, when I ask them who they will vote for in 2020, almost all of them have said they will vote for him again.

    That's supporting fascism.

Nothing, because we exist in reality and not a fictional bubble.
