Make Green tech cheaper and more profitable with a better ROI then what is currently in use and if you cant then piss off until you do. Its really that simple. Money will win out until we are either dead and gone or future generations are screwed either way this pandering is pointless. Would i like to change? Sure but until there is no bumps or bruises it will not happen with the way the global system is in place so make it a 1 to 1 transition otherwise we will not change.

It's just a kid throwing a tantrum and, as fits her age and as was expected, puts forward no clear solution as to how billions of people are supposed to change the way they live without ensuing economic repercussions and the complete collapse of economies as we know them. Fitting for a child, wild accusations and outbursts of demands are thrown around, all the while the child is blaming others for something said child partakes in. It is good entertainment if anything.

It was a sarcastic remark because her "ruined" childhood is actually a luxurious "I demand!" journey in which she gets to chose to go to New York in a sailboat. Billions of others whose lives depend on the things she complains about don't have that option. How dare adults ruin her childhood by making her have a trip by sailboat to New York.

The news about her sailboat polluted the media space for quite a bit. It was hard to miss.

She chose to enter the environmental policy debate which means she's fair game for criticism. If a child is too young for public criticism then she should avoid taking policy stances. You can't have your cake and eat it too.
