Thread: BFGD monitors

    BFGD monitors

I've been in the market for a new television. I enjoy a good television and movie experience, so i was planning on an OLED. However, I was concerned about burn-in. I came across a video about BFGD monitors. I'm kind of out of the loop with peripherals, so this was the first time I've heard of them. I know it would take a pretty beefy system to run on a BFGD, but my biggest question is has anyone heard of the television/movie experience is on them?

BFGD (big format gaming display) Are just LCD displays with alot of gaming crap and HDR in them. So it's not a screen you want to buy, if you want a good movie experience.

Burn-in in OLED displays are of the past. I have a 55" LG B7 and i have had it for almost 1,5 year now and there are NO signs of burn-in at all and the LG screens also have a feature to prevent burn-in.

If you want the best movie experience, then go OLED or QLED. I like the OLED screens the best. The OLED screen just have the best overall picture, when you see them side by side

From what they said, BFGD's are decent for movies, but not as good as OLED's

Thanks everyone for the input. Hearing that burn-in isn't as big of an issue as before makes me think I'll just go with my original plan with an OLED and console game on it. Keep my current PC setup for the more demanding stuff.
