Hmm... alright, I'll play.
World of Warcraft: Harbingers
Theme:
- Death themed expansion bringing us to the Shadowlands via the stairwell in ICC
- Upon arriving in the Shadowlands we discover that they are nothing more than a death based version of Azeroth. Between the Shadowlands, the Emerald Dream, and the void version of Azeroth we encountered during VoN we learn that there are six alternate versions of Azeroth. At this point it is revealed that there are six versions of reality, all caught in an eternal war to claim the material plane.
- There is a split within the realm of death. Those following Bwomsandi seek to keep the natural balance of souls coming and going from the realm of death. Sylvanas and Helya have entered into an agreement and lead a faction that believes in killing as many as possible to bolster their ranks to launch an invasion into the other planes. Meanwhile Bolvar leads a third faction dedicated to pulling as many souls back from the realm of death and into the realm of the living to bolster their defenses against invading realms.
- The foundation of the future cosmic wars begins to get laid with hints that we may be visiting said realms soon.
- After the initial venture into the Shadowlands, we reunite with our class orders and they act as guides into the different realms assuring we don't become lost
Features:
- Huge focus on working on the RPG, open world, and fantasy aspects of the game
- Level squish to 60
- Mount family system that gives each unique family of mounts abilities

- Titanforging and Warforging are gone and replaced by an a la carte gearing system with no RNG in any form
- No new levels, instead all progression is tied into the new secondary progression system known as Titanforging
- Titanforging is a new system that allows players to choose where to spend their levels every time they level with the new TF system.
- Titanforging levels have been applied to the following systems; mounts, zone abilities, hearth stones, weapon skills, armor skills, mount skills, pets, heirloom gear, transmog, maps, guild skills, professions, bags, bonus loot rolls, reputations, alt leveling, player housing, and more features in future patches.
