Dire maul phase and meeting stones

So Dire Maul was added in patch 1.3 as well as meeting stones. However meeting stones still don't work and innkeepers doesn't either offer ability to join groups.
Are they gonna enable their functionality soon?

Patch 1.3.0 (07-Mar-2005): Meeting Stones added.

Patch 1.5.0 (2005-06-07): Innkeepers around the world now have a gossip option that lets you join a meeting stone directly from the innkeeper rather than going to the location of the meeting stone. Also these Innkeepers will now have background lore about each of the dungeons.

Patch 2.0.1 (05-Dec-2006): Meeting Stones now function similar to a Warlock Summon spell.

Wouldn't matter. People didn't use them in Vanilla and still won't.

Classic is not about how many used certain things, its about vanilla experience. There are many items, abilities talents and things "people dont use" and are still in the game. Many would use this because it makes easier to form groups to low level dungeons.

People did not use them for a reason. Getting in a group of 5 Healers or 4 DPS and 1 tank is not what people really want when they join a dungeon.
