The anniversary event is very underwhelming

What is the point of doing Heigan when it even ends before safety dance?
What is the point of Vashj if you even do not need to throw spines?
What is the point of Lich King when you even can stay in Remorsless Winter?

Why there can't be event that not all casual baddies are able to finish it?
I seriously thought i will jump from playing Classic and do this event... but i is not even worth installing retail, lol.

Because it's an anniversary event that's basically a giveaway for people that play at that time. And not a hardcore raider event with limited time bosses.
Those were some hard bosses, if they retained the mechanics and be tuned close to what they were in their times, only a small portion of players will get anything but frustration.

Actually finishing a fight would be nice.

I'd much rather do just one raid with Illidan, Lich King and Deathwing, as long as they are real fights and we actually fight them from start to finish. It doesn't need to be super hard, they can easily scale down HP and damage. But it's just not fun to get the LK down to like 20% only for Chromie to say "oh well that was the LK". It's fun seeing people die to Heigan's dance, lava in Nefarian's room and defile from LK, but the fights are more frustrating than fun. I mean Anub'arak was so long and boring.

man, this event is bugged as heck, in ragnaros, each time the group tried it, we kept getting the time warpy loading in screen and reset to middle of room every 4 seconds.

Well, event is okay - fights can be a bit longer than 1 killing mechanic (30sec/60sec), let's say - 2min and it would be perfect )

No it isn’t especially considering addons installed to the game are a thing in the UK.

Blizzard is a US company and they call them expansions because that’s what they do. Expand the game rather that just adding on individual features.

It's confusing. You start halfway a fight and finish 10 secs later, before the boss is even dead. I never did those fights before, I have no idea what is happening and before I even know what a boss does, it's on to the next.

You do not need to be hardcore raider to finish for example normal Lich King, lol.
You also got a lot more tools and skills to avoid many stuff like fear/fall damage on Archimonde.

I would love to see it as 'only a small portion of players will get anything' instead everyone gets everything for free.
That could be very, very cool event to spend atleast a few evenings with friends instead just 0,5h and lets forget about it.

Most other anniversary events all I did was login and collect whatever was in my mailbox. This year's event gave us just the right amount of nostalgia.

That defile landed in the group and grew max size before i even had a chance to turn and run lol

its literally the point of the event that anyone can finish it, its a celebration, not another raid tier...
and btw, I havent done the event yet, but its impossible its easier than classic raiding...

I wanted to rip my hair out with how shitty some people can be. If there's anything I've learned from this event, it's to never do LFR again, let alone play with bad players. So many of them were absolutely clueless and just flat out sucked. People are entitled to play the game however they please, but I never want to play with a bad player ever again. Bad players ruin the game. I wasn't toxic at any given point or hurled insults. I just kept to myself and my face turned into a tomato.

Some people are too stupid or impatient to explain fights and get angry when people don't know them, even though they are part of the problem. Although getting angry at people not being the best players in raid finder is kind of like getting angry at losing at a casino.
