Let me try:

1) Cute couple try to commit a relatively simple crime, only to barely escape with their lives and a much bigger haul than expected

2) Pair of co-workers on an important job barely escape with their lives, causing one to abandon his job for religion while the other continues his job only to be killed on the job a few days later.

3) Aging athlete intentionally crosses mob boss, and their chase/fight crosses an entire city before the pair must team up to defeat an even greater threat. This one has a chainsaw.

4) Bodyguard escorting failed actress nearly loses his charge to a drug overdose.

5) Black guy and white guy saved from horrifyingly unexpected car trouble by coffee gourmet and incredibly fast driver. They celebrate their good fortune by going out to eat, only to be robbed.
