Are you shopped local this year?

    Pros:

    Helps support local business.

    Helps local community.

More one of a kind items.

    More specialty Shops.

    Cons:

    It’s more expensive.

Small business is exempt from certain taxes and wages for employees.

No. Purchasing things locally is a stupid trend. We live in a global economy and the sooner megacorporations take over everything the better off we will be.

Both. I'll go out of my way to buy locally when I can.

But I also buy a lot of stuff at bigger chain stores and online (a big chunk of my Christmas shopping is usually done on Amazon).

Honestly where I live all the local businesses have been ground to dust long ago. Those that are still around are extremely specialized and thus likely not to carry much about what I care about.

I shop wherever it is the most accommodating and cost effective.
