I delved into this one a bit more because I don’t want folks getting in trouble. Under our EULA the following section: >

Cloud Computing: Use the Platform, including a Game, in connection with any unauthorized third-party “cloud computing” services, “cloud gaming” services, or any software or service designed to enable the unauthorized streaming or transmission of Game content from a third-party server to any device.

With the remote access, you might be treading very closely to this, so it might be a bad idea and at this point I’d recommend against the activity.

I’m going to update my previous statement to avoid any trouble down the line if someone were only to see that quote.

Enjoy your bans, I'm outright reporting anyone in here who claims they used it.

You would have a better chance of Getting Multi-Boxers getting banned than with Remote Desktop users and there is already a 0% chance of a multi-boxer getting banned.

Do you know how remote desktop works?
Obviously you don't because you don't see the difference at Blizzards end so its not even something they could do anything against if they wanted.

Is this still an issue? I remember the first week of Classic the queues were 3-4 hours a night, and half my guild was doing this remote logon to bypass the queues.
This is one of several reasons why I quit Classic when I did.
I might come back eventually, but if this sort of queue nonsense persists I don't see the appeal.

Why didnt you leave Herod when you could? Transfers have been open multiple times and these queues have been on going since launch. You get what you paid for.

Oof, I originally rolled on Stallag, played for 2 weeks at only an hour a night after work due to Queues. Transferred off over to Heartseeker, which was 6-1 Alliance dominated and I play horde.
Trying to level in Fel Wood in my low 50s and getting corpse camped by 2-4 bored level 60s in raid gear wasn't my idea of a good time I tell ye' hwat.

I dont play classic but I sure as hell would do this. Why would I go to work for 8 hours, travel home and then want to wait 4+ hours to play? I would definitely log in remotely to start the queue at least.

Hell, back in Classic, this was a problem. As it was in most expansion launches. You want to ban me for having my wife start my login queue 3 hours before I got home from work?

I'm happy about my choice, does that make you upset. I would leave but I have a guild of 120 people who would all have to leave as well, thats not gonna happen.
