What will you do if Yellowstone erupts?

The most terrifying and overlooked issue in the U.S if not the world is the supervolcano in the western US that is bound to erupt any moment. Even if you're out the blast radius, super-tsunami, super-earthquakes and the shifting of the plates will wreck so much havoc on this planet and if that doesn't scare you? The ashfall out will cover the sun and super-cool the Earth for hundreds of years.

What would you do in this situation:
"BREAKING NEWS: YELLOWSTONE SUPER VOLCANO ERUPTS"
"You know you that bitch when you cause all this conversation."

I guess I'll just die since I live in So cal? The reason it is "overlooked" is because there is nothing we can really do about it so why bother worrying about it?

Hope I'm totally fucked as fast as possible.
Human progress isn't measured by industry. It's measured by the value you place on a life.

    Just, be kind.

Text my dad and be like "Ayyyy you see the world's ending? Tryna give me one of your ARs and some fishing tackle?"

Then, assuming the power grid hasn't collapsed and the internet still works, go back to playing video games.

Super-tsunami? From where yellowstone lake? For the other stuff let me guess you just watched 2012. While the actual kill zone would probably delete Montana, Idaho and the Dakotas. The biggest problem after that would be the rest of the continental US being buried in ash.

Followed globally at least in the northern hemisphere by another mini ice age. Worst case we could end up with another snowball earth from something like the Siberian event from 250 million years ago that wiped practically all life from earth.

It's not being overlooked. It's just isn't considered an imminent threat.

    https://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/...low/973633002/

Scientists who study Yellowstone's 45-by-30-mile caldera, roughly the size of Rhode Island, say the underground system probably will give decades of warning before it blows – and that isn't likely to happen for thousands of years. Despite the seismic orchestra of "snap, crackle and pop" that goes on underground, there are no signs it's about to become more explosive.

No. If you are living in the US/Canada, well if your in Canada your probably cut off and screwed and will now be the front line to the newest ice age, unless you are willing to accept your fate you will be on the road heading to Mexico or S. America. US and Canada will be a post apocalyptic waste land for several hundred years with the ash fall out and it's long term ecological/climate issues.

His country wouldn't be safe either.
Not sure if anyone would be...the world would be affected, negatively impacted for decades, if not centuries.
Push it all in a new ice age.

Yep. It's about the equivalent of being a neurotic/paranoid mess over the next 1 mile in diameter meteor hitting the earth.

I live in sweden, not sure how much we would be affected here but im sure i could watch it on the news.

Anyways im sure they could sense it way before it acually happened so most people in the us/canada could evacuate.
Do you hear the voices too?
