Horde If You Hate Poverty, You Should Love Capitalism

Capitalism is the reason why extreme poverty has been reduced so much.

How much is PragerU paying you?

Yes, capitalism is good. It's too bad my country is run by an anti-capitalist.

Is this one of those Prager U videos where it's going to tell us how great Capitalism is by using Adam Smith's version of it that included some socialism -- and then claim its the same as the New Capitalism that's run rampant here in the last 40 years?

Unchecked capitalism does not improve life for those at the bottom of the pyramid. Case in point: the cocoa trade alone. When the price of cocoa went down, the increased profits didn't show in the shape of more payment to the farmers, nor cheaper products for the consumers.

It all went into the pockets of those already having more than they could ever spend.

Socialism + Capitalism in a balanced marriage though, works just fine.

Scandinavian countries say hello. Well, at least the welfare part of the model.

The more accurate description would probably be Ethical or humanitarian Capitalism, which is simply not the model going on in the entirety of our world as of today.

I knew this was a DipshitU video the moment I saw the the embeded frame in the OP, even before the picture had loaded.
You are welcome, Metzen. I hope you won't fuck up my underground expansion idea.

This is the third time I'm replying to his threads in less than an hour... the guy is clearly just a Propaganda Peddler burner account. Report him, hope people actually do something about it, and move on.

Seriously, look at his "Starting Threads" list. Half of his shitposts end up getting locked

But, I guess we can't ban this shitposter because "reasons"...

Having zero regulations is a bad thing, but over regulations and overtaxing can have detrimental effects. We do not need business killing laws.

So, are you angry at Trump for raising taxes multiple times? Or, do you live in a different country?

Yes, I have looked at the long list of his closed threads. However, people are not actually able to see the results of your search pages.

Do you have any evidence to back that up?

So, you do oppose capitalism... how sad.

    We are?

I know that Sweden has been the favored cautionary tale of right-wingers for quite some time, but as someone literally living at the bottom rung of the societal ladder, I'm having it pretty great in this country.

    So.... no evidence. Got it.

As someone who opposes the welfare systems as a whole, I'd love to see your evidence.

Imagine having such a terrible argument that you have to create a sock puppet to make it look like your argument isn't total shit.

I do, and I can say that in my 33 years of living in this country, I've never not seen such things on the News.

Since you don't understand swedish it's pointless to link to the kommunfullmäktige meetings and so on where they try to find solutions for the costs. Some suggest raising taxes, others are suggesting cutting money spent on various things.
Yes, and English translation would be wonderful, thanks in advance. Of course, the other Swede in the thread seems to not know what you are talking about.

Pay me if you want me to translate for you.
It's your claim. You made a very bold claim, one that your fellow countryman emphatically denies. The burden of evidence is on you. If you cannot provide that evidence, then your claim is summarily pointless, and can be dismissed.

I find it odd that you want me to pay so you will back your claim.
