This has been the case for awhile man, going to need to look elsewhere for the outrage.
FOMO: "Fear Of Missing Out", also commonly known as people with a mental issue of managing time and activities, many expecting others to fit into their schedule so they don't miss out on things to come. If FOMO becomes a problem for you, do seek help, it can be a very unhealthy lifestyle..
More importantly, we don't even have a trailer.
Good point, I don't recall seeing a trailer for 7.1, but this being the final major content patch for the expansion (presumably?) with an end to the story, I thought we'd get a trailer in the vein of Fall of the Lich King, Hour of Twilight, Assault on Orgrimmar, etc. Visions of N'zoth is a big lore event, killing the final living Old God, (in fact it looks like we disintegrate him) and it's coming out to little fanfare like a fart in an elevator. If anything they're hyping the stupid ass gear more than the lore event the final patch depicts.
He'll have an ending cinematic, but it is true that I am missing a patch trailer for this one. Would have been great to hear more of N'Zoth in a cinematic, really.
They've done a good job with cinematics and stuff as of late. And while I certainly was not at all expecting the Saurfang treatment for N'Zoth, it is a shame we get no patch trailer. I mean, Azshara got one, but the final boss doesn't?
Unless it's coming today, of course.
Pretty sure that's always been the case? I don't remember being able to see Garrosh's defeat before 5.4 was released for example. Same thing for HFC and Antorus ending cinematics.
The Void. A force of infinite hunger. Its whispers have broken the will of dragons... and lured even the titans' own children into madness. Sages and scholars fear the Void. But we understand a truth they do not. That the Void is a power to be harnessed... to be bent by a will strong enough to command it. The Void has shaped us... changed us. But you will become its master. Wield the shadows as a weapon to save our world... and defend the Alliance!
As others have said: Encryption.
Blizzard has perfected their way of hiding major events from the PTR now, so we'll see it when the first normal/heroic clear happens.

[...] we have an intolerance for ideas and evidence that don’t fit a certain ideology. I’m also not saying that we should restrict people to certain gender roles; I’m advocating for quite the opposite: treat people as individuals, not as just another member of their group (tribalism)..
