A couple of questions from a returning player

1) Is it worth it to buy a boost? I can't stand leveling, but I don't want to pay for one and then 1 week later there's a free one available with the Shadowlands pre-order.

2) Will you leave Classic to play Shadowlands? I know Classic is more popular than retail at the moment, but part of it is that it's the "newest" release. Naturally, people will go back to retail for Shadowlands, because it'll be what everyone else is doing, no matter how much they hate the game. It happens every time, people hate on WoW, then buy the latest release.

1) Besides the boost that comes with the expansion, I don't think its ever worth spending $60 just to skip leveling. Besides, leveling is supposed to be faster in Shadowlands, so I am waiting to level my alts then.

2). I'm not so sure Classic is more popular than Retail. I have heard people saying they feel like Classic is dead (but they have said the same thing about retail for years). There seems to be quite a few people playing the new content.

1. Leveling is really fast now (especially if you download one of the many leveling addons) - plus it gives you a chance to figure if you even like the class you picked, the boost gives you nothing simply leveling wouldn't give you - we got a long time for shadowlands, I wouldn't waste your money

The boost was never worth it, unless you have a lot of b.net currency from tokens or if you're well off financially where $60 is a drop in the bucket. Most expansions come with a free max level boost of the previous expansion when you buy it anyways. And, come Shadowlands - apparently it's going to be faster to level than it even is now, and it'll be more rewarding with less level ups being empty meaningless stat gains.

Blizzard loves their opportunity costs. They could make all their services cheap, way cheaper - but that isn't the point. They know people will buy them anyways who REALLY want them in the first place.

1) Don't understand your question. We already have Shadowlands pre-order with boost (heroic and epic versions) and heroic version cost same money as regular boost.

2) I don't think Classic was ever more popular than BfA beside first month or two. For sure it isn't now.

To be honest, he writes good stuff, his stuff is more.... well more trustworthy than other channels who always support blizzard and wont say anything bad. He always hits the mark when blizz doesnt do something right and gives additional information. Its true that hes trying to develop a game but his team is very small, but that doesnt mean that he doesnt know how to make a game. He reviews the game a tons of times and then makes a vid about it, ofcourse he gets opinions of his team aswell.

Simply, he doesnt shy away to say the game is bad when its bad.

Furthermore preach himself is quite a big guy in the WoW community and raids at high level, he can play every class perfect, so I do appreciate the opinions of these two guys combined.

Like him or not, he's passionate about what he does and that's something. Being a troll and calling him "low effort clickbait" is definitely an exaggeration. In this day, it hard to be passionate about anything without downers like you ruining anything good in this world.

I should first say I think all Blizzard money making schemes are ridiculous.

However, I make $30 an hour, so two hours of work for me would be $60.

The average time I got from reddit to hit 120 is 70 hours or so from 1.

So that’s about $2,100 of my time if you quantified it based on my work value.

So $60 when you look at it like that is really not bad.
