The BBC are airing an adaptation of this tonight at 16.55 GMT The book is just lovely.

It's got Idris Elba and Gabriel Byrne narrating two of the characters and the author is also involved somewhere.

I'm not sure how they are going to make it last 30 minutes but I'm so excited about this
