Question Self-isolation survey. How many days a week do you go outside?

Let's put things into perspective. How many of my fellow forum-goers are doing the right thing and staying home?

I'm not great at stockpiling so I have to go outside at least 1-3 days a week (2 on average, I suppose) to do some groceries, but I take care to distance myself from everyone when I go about my business.

My work is classified "essential" , so everyday.

I think it goes without saying that this survey only applies to non-essential workers who can limit their outdoor activity.

Used to be only to go to work.
Now I'm under home quarantine waiting on Covid-19 test results so I'm not going anywhere for the next few days.
And I just got furloughed with 2 weeks pay plus my PTO.

The right thing is to not have unnecessary contact, not detrimentally isolate yourself.

I have to walk the dog, so I'm going outside every day, and taking my daughter to the park sometimes to ride her bike. As far as running errands and such, I go to the grocery store once/week and we go do another trip somewhere like Home Depot, or our storage unit a couple of times a week. My wife's work is limiting stafff, so she can mostly be home and we pack/teach our daughter.

Zero days if i can help it, have had a history with lung illnesses before. Got others helping me out with groceries if needed.
I had the terrible luck of being afflicted by multiple pneumonia's and then some. So a history of repository illnesses, i don't see the purpose in risking it.

Being isolated is not fun, but luckily in today's age the internet keeps everyone connected. Feeling isolated for a month vs being stuck in hospital on a respirator with other people around me, easy choice.

    7 days a week, 365 days...no holidays, no days off....self employed/business owner.
I have had 2 days off in 8 years since choosing this lifestyle.

other than work, I am lucky to see the outside for more than a few minutes....about....once a week.

    Buh Byeeeeeeeeeeee !!

My boss still expects me to go to work, and my budget still expects me to earn money.

    So...6/7.

And one day for myself to just get shit done.

Still gotta work since my current job enables others to eat. Hell Im even working overtime since someone at work got told to “self isolate”
(Spoiler alert she all but said she lied about meeting her infected uncle just to get two weeks off paid)

I’m honestly not worried about my own health but I’m worried Im spreading the virus around to other people who are not as balla as I am. Not coughing/sneezing/breathing heavily + I’m washing my hands like every 5 mins And keeping my distance.

Even with my back problems I try to at least SIT outside in the sun every single day that it's out.
Now that the source to my issues has been determined, I'll be sloooowly returning to my daily schedule of exercise. Corona is not going to stop me, I'll simply keep my distance from people and have hand sanitizer in my pocket.

I've solved groceries and such by means of online ordering from a big supermarket in my city.

    Every day.
I go to the park every day, and the supermarket a few times during the week.

I'm under home quarantine now. Before that I was going out for a walk every other day. I've practically been in seclusion for nearly three weeks already.

at least in California, you can still go out, assuming you don't actually have the virus or think you have the virus. can still go buy groceries, the bank, get to-go food from restaurants, check in on people, go for a walk, etc.--just do it smartly, distance oneself, and don't gather together.

i goto work 4 times a week. I work for a hospital so we're essential.

I moved to my beach house
I go to the beach when there are no people around.
Every day. But I make sure there are no other people anywhere near.

Well, I mean, I take out trash almost every day.

Other than that - about 2 days a week to buy food. Once to the local convenience store to buy stuff like milk, soda and other small things. Then once a week to supermarket to buy everything else for the week.

    Working from home.

Minimum of 3 to 4 days a week to go for a 1 or 2h walk in the woods or more isolated areas

bear in mind, our property is 1 acre, so going outside essentially means going into our own garden and still being a lot more then 6 feet away from other people. I also have to go outside every day, to deal with aforementioned garden and chickens we have in backyard. but... it doesn't actualy break quarantine.
