Yep; our health district in North Idaho just downgraded us to red and rescinded the mask mandate. Conservatives cheered that they saved personal liberty and blamed the increased spread on the masks in the first place.

I listened to the debate on the radio. Trump seemed sharper and livelier than Biden, who sounded slightly faltering and very old. Not that Trump ever actually said anything intelligent, because he's not capable of it. But purely in terms of energy and vigor you wouldn't think there was only 3 years between them.

I think there's a lot of people in your situation right now. Trump might have been the better speaker, but that doesn't give him the better message. In the end, so many people have decided to the point of voting that the needle probably won't move much, but Trump needed it to MASSIVELY move. It didn't.

Basically Trump couldn't describe any policy and he tried to spew the right-wing, Fox, talk radio talking points but cannot even get that across. He is basically a bumbling buffoon or if any credit his senility is getting worse and he just can't.
